First and most importantly, I highly recommend this case if you plan on traveling with the Bose Portable Home Speaker or putting it in a bag for transport. I've taken the speaker to the beach with me and on a few trips and it did a great job at protecting the speaker against other items in my bags and small bumps. Excellent well made case. Plenty of padding for my new Bose Portable Speaker. Speaker fits into case perfectly. Great feature is the slot in front of the speaker bed for the optional Bose Charging Base. In front of this is plenty of room for the A/C adapter and cable. Outside of case is hard shell with a heavy duty carrying handle on the side which is covered in rubber for good grip and ease of carrying. Two heavy duty zippers assure the case remains closed and dry. I have many cases for carrying portable speakers and this one is at the top. I like this case. It’s sturdy and durable.. (haven’t and will not be preforming a drop test). The speaker, charging cradle, cord and plug fit perfectly. Zippers work great. Has a handle for easy carrying. When you pay $300+ for a speaker … it’s a no brainer to buy a case to protect it from the unthinkable. Now with that said I will think about something .. like I mentioned….and I’m not going to go start dropping my speaker in the case to see how durable this case is. You can do that and find out. You have a $300+ Bose speaker and you definitely want to make sure it's well protected when traveling. The sound is really good, better than the previous one (soundlink revolve plus) and you can feel a little bit more bass, appearance its better too and of course that Alexa voice is a nice plus but... the Bluetooth conection is bad, sometimes you lost the conection and many times is necessary to go directly to the speaker for turning on because you cannot do it using the Bose music app, the battery life is less than soundlink revolve plus. ... show more

I purchased this for my new Bose Portable Home speaker with Voice Control. Unit fits in snug and no issues to close and zip up. You can see it not to large for device with no bulging. Be sure to pre coil your charging cord prior to placing in. Very happy with purchase.

Fits the speaker and charger great & offers real protection for transport. The inside smelled strongly of chemicals (similar to a burnt rubber smell) that has diminished over time (leaving the case open to air out) but still even after a few months has not gone away completely.
