When I opened this coffee pot I thought it was huge. I worried that it would not fit on counter. However, it fit in the space near a plug where I had the other coffee pot. It was a little heavy, but not too heavy for me to carry. It was silver and matched my other appliances. It looks like a really good coffee pot. I washed it out and did the first step of running water through it. It is very hot. The temperature is set on 192, so I let that stand. The booklet does not state the size of the water reservoir so I looked it up. It holds 75 oz. Of water and makes 8 cups. Then I put the K-Cup in. I pressed strong and 8 oz cup. It worked well and I had a cup of coffee in a very short time. It was a little stronger than what I used to make, but it was very good. Later on, I would make iced coffee which dilutes it a lot. On this pot, you can make iced coffee right away which I plan to do. You can also make hot water for cocoa or oatmeal and that is one feature that I wanted. Over all, this is a nice looking coffee pot. It is easy to learn and works right away. I do move it from the wall when I use it to give it more space. It did not splash at all. It has a nice, big tray if you accidentally splash coffee. It is extremely quiet and does not make noise when it pierces K-Cup. I like it a lot and would buy again. ... show more

Hubby bought me a knock off version of a single serve Keurig for Christmas as I like the flavored coffees. He thought it would nice as I could make a single cup whenever I wanted without brewing a whole pot. The single serve he purchased had all the features and was great….for the first 5 months. It then started spewing hot water & steam with very little coffee. I must say, however, when we contacted the manufacturer, they quickly replaced it. The replacement, unfortunately only lasted from May to early July when it started the same thing…again. At this time, Amazon was having their July Prime sale and this Keurig was on a great deal, so I purchased it. I am so impressed with this machine and the variety of cup sizes, there’s a feature for making iced coffee, a really large water reservoir, a descaler, a “hot water” option, and you can even fill your travel mugs. I love the way it reheats the water after every brew, I love you can set a time for it to come on so that the heat cycle is completed before you even get to the kitchen, I love that it stays “on” for 2 hours (hubby is a late sleeper) before it shuts off automatically. What don’t I like about it (besides the fact I wish we had gotten this earlier instead of having to go through the rigor-maroe of the other one). NOTHING! I love the ease of increasing the brew strength at the push of a button, I love the way it looks sitting on my countertop; let’s just stop. I love this machine & you will too. I got this Keurig K-Elite single serve brushed slate K cup coffee maker for my husband for Father’s Day. First of all, the brushed slate is absolutely beautiful in our kitchen. It looks exactly like the photo on the website. It is so sleek and so elegant that it really upgrades my kitchen. In fact, as soon as I put it there, I thought my house would sell quicker when I decide to sell it with this on the counter in the kitchen! It replaced a very old Mr. coffee and also an electric tea kettle, both of which were dirty and unattractive. At first, my husband was bummed out that I had spent the money on him! He loves to pamper me and our children, but he doesn’t like any money spent on himself. I had also gotten K cup reusable cups so that he could finish the ground coffee that we already have and also test out the machine without spending a lot on K cups. It was really easy to figure out how to start using the machine and we put our ground coffee, Folgers breakfast blend, into the reusable K cup, and a minute later, voilà, my husband had a perfect cup of coffee! Then I used the hot water feature and made myself a fantastic cup of tea. I love it. I absolutely love it and so does my husband! We are like little kids at Christmas with our new toy! This morning, he decided to make the brew stronger for a 12 ounce cup of coffee and liked it even better. We didn’t program the hot water to be hot when we got downstairs to the kitchen this morning but the water heats up so quickly it’s like a miracle to us. By using the reusable K cups, and the ground coffee that we buy in a big container, a cup of coffee cost only about five cents. Whereas if I buy the Folgers breakfast blend K cups, each coffee cup costs about $.53! So my husband is very happy to use the reusable K cups and discovered this morning that it was very easy to dump out the grounds after he had finished and rinse out the K cup for the next use. He is delighted with his new gift and delighted that we can use reusable K cups and save the money! And I am incredibly happy to see him happy !
