For a sub $10 item, this tool is handy to keep by your router table or table saw. The blade height gauge is accurate for both metric and imperial gauges according to my calipers. The numbers can be hard to read, but given the number of heights in the gauge, I am not sure you could do much better. The "dado" sections are accurate-ish (there is variation of a few thousands of a mm/inch and its not consistent across the who gauge) when I check them. I am not really sure how useful this part of the tool is, but if you needed to check the width of a dado quickly, it will do the job. Overall this is a handy tool for a sub $10 price. This is a well made gauge of about 1/4 inch metal that will last for years. It makes setting router heights or table saw blade heights easy so you improve the accuracy of your cuts quickly. Would make a nice gift, but I am keeping mine! I like it too much to give away
