    Powerful is one thing but holy cow this is OVERPOWERING!! I just got it tonight and put the very first spray on my wrist and instantly got a headache. the smell itself is wonderful and definitely distinctive but God dam tone it down a bit.     The Kenneth Cole Copper black is strong and will last you the whole evening. It has notes of vanilla and ginger which went well together but a little bit too powerful and too powdery for my taste. Rating cologne is always hard and I don’t like to give it a low score because everybody has different tastes and colors. I can see some people loving this smell but it was just not my style so I am only giving it a 3 stars rating. ... show more

    This is a very sophisticated fragrance. People describe it as for the outdoorsy sporty type but i dont agree. I see it as a scent for an executive type strong quiet 100% male..this is a scent that will def make him stand out and will attract the women.. It starts out strong but then mellows out nicely..its "cuddle up" worthy. I def like it..one of the best KC fragrances ... show more

    This is some of the best smelling cologne I’ve had in a while. Used Kenneth Cole products before and they’ve always smelt good but this takes it a step further. When you first spray it, the smell overtakes whatever area you’re in but after a few minutes it becomes subtle and really only becomes something someone smells as they get closer. Only downside to this product is the price and size of bottle you get. Overall though a good choice for a night out! ... show more

    This is my husband's first time trying a Kenneth Cole fragrance and he was definitely impressed! The bottle itself is masculine, high quality, and sophisticated looking. The bottle colors and design are dark, rich, and classic. Fragrances are so personal which makes them a bit difficult to review. This fragrance is not your typical cheap smelling, in your face sporty scent that chokes the life out of you when someone completely douses themselves in it!!! Many men's fragrances, especially the ones sold in mass market stores, give me such bad headaches when I'm around people that wear them. This fragrance is upscale, masculine, bold, woodsy, with a touch of sportiness. It has a touch of sweetness to it but not too much. My husband hates sweet scents and wouldn't wear anything that was super sweet. This fragrance is not overpowering in the least but it is definitely noticeable. When my husband wears this fragrance, I get frequent scent wafts when he walks by me. I love the scent so that works for me. :) The fragrance holds up well during the day, even when my husband is extremely active. Naturally, it isn't as strong by the end of the day as it was when he first sprays it, but the fragrance does linger. Some cheaper fragrances and body sprays lose their fragrance notes throughout the day and only smell like alcohol after awhile. Not the case with this whatsoever! While I would personally never select a fragrance for someone since they are so personal, this one would make a wonderful gift if you just knew that this scent would be loved by the recipient!
