I just took these out for a day on the lake with my kayak and let me tell you they are the most comfortable water shoes I've ever worn. It's just like going barefoot but with protection on your feet. You can still feel the larger rocks but not bad. And they have a real sure grip on things so they really inspire confidence. One of the reasons I went with these over some of the others is that they don't have a huge brand name emblazoned on them. Just a tasteful little set of initials at the top of the tongue and the name placed discretely on bottom of the soul. My feet were so comfortable all day I didn't even think about them. That's a true sign of comfort. I normally wear a 12EEE so I got the size 13 to help make up for the width. They fit perfectly with just 1/4" of space in front of my toe. The toe cap is wide enough that my toes are happy campers in there. And with the two adjustment straps you can get a nice snug fit. No chance of them falling off my feet anyway. I got the Black/Blue 2779's and they look fantastic. Better than the pictures in real life. They appear to be very well made and I look forward to getting many years of use out of these shoes. ... show more

Love these for the following reasons: 1-thicker sole protects feet from rocks, etc. but is still flexible. 2-love the velcro across the arch instead of laces (laces catch on twigs etc.) ... and 3-LOVE the velcro strap around the back of the heel! Because I have a very high arch, most shows with a 'closed' front will never ever go on my foot ... but the heel velcro and stretchy hem around the opening allows just enough room for even my high arch to slide in nicely ... then tight the heel velcro strap for a snug fit. I bought these to go to the Waterpark because the ground burns my feet. They were very form fitted and kept my feet cool. The only thing is the draw string can get a bit too tight but I lossened them and adjusted the position and I worked out great.

I was very unsure when buying these shoes at first, but I decided to buy them and see how they feel before my vacation. When they arrived, I looked at them and I was really not fond of the look but as soon as I tried them on I really enjoyed how they felt and how easy it was to move around with them. One thing I have to say is that the top seems to "come apart" easily (quotes because I don't know how else to describe it) Overall a very good product, would recommend. ... show more

So I like the Velcro gives a secure fit my biggest complaint is lack of traction these slide if you walk on slick surfaces I bought them for aqua aerobics and I find myself sliding around more then when I wear my other pair from a different vendor these would be perfect if they just figure out how to keep them from sliding around ... show more

The second time these were worn, the inserts came out upon removing them from my feet. The soles are very thin and the bottom of the river had some pointy rocks which made it uncomfortable and at times hurt to wear these water shoes. Threw them away and bought some good water shoes
