  • Good quality but worth it???
I ordered these for my Surron to give a little more grip. After receiving them and riding with them for about a week, I'm a bit conflicted about these. Although they are well made and feel very sturdy, the price is really expensive for a little block of metal and the utility is questionable. I'll start with the build quality. These are made very well. There are no visible imperfections and they feel quite solid. They have a high quality coat of paint and the bolts seem fairly corrosion resistant so far. They mounted to aftermarket surron CNC pegs perfectly and would probably fit on the vast majority of aftermarket pegs. The design allows for pretty much universal mounting. These also came with directions which is more than I can say about a lot of other surron accessories. Now on to the not so good. First off, these are ridiculously priced. For a simple chunk of metal, they are quite expensive. Normally I would give that a pass but the fact that these will fit pretty much any motorcycle peg means that there are probably much cheaper generic alternatives for this sort of thing. Its just a lot of money for a small modification that doesn't really do that much. I ended up removing the pins on my peg to get a slightly more solid mounting point for these. It changes the angle a bit but feels a lot more sturdy. That is not how they are recommended to be installed but I prefer it. I tried both ways and removing the grip pins was the best in my opinion. Do you need these? Probably not. They add a little bit more grip to the pegs. Especially while you're doing a wheelie. It gives the heel of your foot something to rest on. Its not really necessary to have this since I thought the stock pegs were reasonably comfortable without the extra grips but maybe you want some more traction. A lot of times when I'm normally riding, my shoes don't even touch these extra peg grips because my feet are tilted forward. Overall I probably wouldn't recommend ordering these. You can get similar peg clamp extender things that have enough room for a passenger to rest their feet. There is a longer one meant for the ultra bee that will fit aftermarket light bee pegs too. And that other one I'm talking about is cheaper than this one. Maybe if you have a really specific need for these, they would be good but I don't think they are necessary for the vast majority of riders. They don't add very much to the riding experience. I will still award these 4 stars because they are well made, well packaged, and work as advertised. They even came with directions which is a step above most surron parts. ... show more

  • Added stability for footpegs1½ to 2½ inches wide (1.48in-2.48in) - Narrow footpegs won't fit*
So first off, make sure they'll fit your pegs. To be clear: the extenders are designed to work with a wide range of different footpegs, but they need to be between 1.48-2.48 inches wide. * Narrow pegs like mine didn't fit.. * that is, until I made them fit... 😎 There was a typo in the product specs (which has since been fixed) so I didn't know that the OEM footpegs on my Moto Guzzi V85TT were about 1cm too narrow. Sooo... I grabbed the angle grinder I carry on me in holster at all times (don't believe everything grown-ups say, Johnny) and cut off 1cm of the extenders' slide-in clasps (and bolts) so they could get the needed tight grip on my skinny pegs. (see photo) THE RESULTS? ALL PROS, NO CONS! - PRECISION-MACHINED QUALITY - LIGHT WEIGHT - SEEMS (?) HARDER THAN PLAIN OLD ALUMINUM.. LIKE MAGNESIUM - AESTHETICALLY UNOFFENSIVE - EASIER, SMOOTH WHEELIE FOOT BRAKING (BEST FOR LAST....) - IMPROVED STABILITY + CONFIDENCE WHILE STANDING = less time spent lifting the bike back up off its side I have an adventure bike and take it off-road in the desert and I was surprised how much these extenders provide a feeling of extra stability when standing, which can relax the mind and let the bike do its thing, especially the slidey-wiggley thing (on gravel, sand, etc. and I'm sure, if we had any, water crossings). Why didn't I know about these?? I found them here by complete algorithm-enhanced chance, and at first I really thought they were for the passenger to place feet behind mine... Until I spent time off-road with the and had to re-read the description very carefully. THIS ONE SENTENCE SAYS IT ALL At my skill level riding an 850cc, >500lb adventure bike off-road, these extenders have helped me enjoy the ride a little longer, before the inevitable, always-impending wash out. (She: "Sooo... is all that crashing... normal?") (Me: <totally lying> "Pfff ... seriously? That's the whole point!) (Me: <still totally lying> "It's the adventure part!") <three full seconds pass as she glares at him, arms crossed> <barely detectable shake of her head, another pause, then: > (She: "You are sooo totally lying to me right now.") (She: "Anyway, I was asking, because it seems like you're not crashing as much.") <he half-smiles, FIDGETING as he holds back the urge to blurt out "not crashing-- dropping! which is so not the same thing." > VERDICT RECOMMENDED ... show more

  • Good Idea but lackluster
This is a good idea but it does not provide enough foot area for larger footed rider. I would not recommend, in this case.

  • Footpeg extensions expand footwear decision
Sometimes I take my bike just around the corner to get gas or a drink and I dont want to put on boots. I use slides. This practice is not safe at all but these footpeg extensions help them fit better on the bikes footpegs. It also makes my adventure boots fit better on the footpegs as well. I use rubber footpeg covers so they can slip easily. The adjustable grips on the end allow an extra bit of grip in addition to the rubbers comfort. Very good all around. ... show more

Upgrade your ride with these KemiMoto universal driver foot pegs extension bracket. It's a game-changer for off-road enthusiasts. • Lightweight but Strong
These are lightweight so they don’t add much weight to your bike. They definitely add length to the foot pedals and make it more comfortable for your feet. The quality is excellent; I definitely recommend these.
