I put these on right out of the box. Never owned a pair before. Went to Hawaii on vacation and wore these through water, sand, mud, etc. NO blisters whatsoever 😳 so comfortable. Great traction. We hiked twin muddy terrain and through sand. I was so impressed I bought another pair. My sister in law bought a pair also and she has plantar fasciitis…she fell in love with them also. My favorite shoe! Comfy and supportive. I get compliments every time I wear these. I have had several colors over past 6 or 7 years- shitake mushroom is the most versatile color. Yes, I really have purchased 8 pairs!!! Two pair were gifts for my mother; my dog chewed two left shoes so now I have a couple spare right shoes. These sandals could have been okay when I was younger. I have some specific requirements, in part due to a toenail that broke at the quick a few months ago. I was looking for something to give my feet air, protect my toes, but not touch the sore toe or irritate it. They can be fine for someone else.

I love keens for their support and looks. I shy away from them for more of a "dressier" look because of their clunkier style. These keens are the exception. They are very trim looking and yet provide the same support and are good looking. Can be worn for dressier looks when wanting to wear keen sandals. They fit true to size. Come in many colors. I read lots of review about how difficult they are to put on the foot. I did not find this to be an issue at all .I now own three pairs. I do not like sandals; nothing pretty about toes in my opinion. These cover your toes and only heels are exposed. I have issues with one foot being extremely painful in most shoes. I purchased these to replace the pair my puppies got ahold of and destroyed. So if purchasing the same sandals twice doesn’t tell you these are great sandals to have, I don’t know what else might. Great for walking all day in, good arch support, and traction on the soles doesn’t allow for much slippage on smooth or wet surfaces. ... show more
