Waterproof and breathable, KEEN Utility's Lansing Mid Steel Toe Waterproof Work Boots for men were designed for all-day comfort, support, and stability on the job. Reflective safety features run the entire length of the shoe for added visibility. Asymmetrical steel toes improve the fit, and a TPU stability shank adds support. A slip- and oil-resistant sole amp up the safety factor. Weighing 23.15 oz / 656 g (per shoe), made with durable, waterproof leather and featuring a moisture-wicking lining. This boot is built off KEEN's traditional wider footwear form. Need to change out your insoles for orthotic or comfort reasons? No problem – KEEN Utility products offer removable insoles. This dependable work boot is great for medium-duty work in construction, landscaping, warehouse distribution and transportation work. All KEEN Utility products use leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). KEEN Utility believes in creating work boots that make work and life better. As a professional mechanic protective footwear is very important. I find that these boots are quick to break in, and are incredibly comfortable. The mesh side and tongue provide great ventilation keeping my feet cool on the hottest days. When using a high temperature pressure washer, these boots not only keep my feet dry but also protect me from water that’s 200 degrees. It’s hard to figure the fit buying online without trying things on. I just got a pair of Brooks size 12 and they fit perfectly. These boots I got 11.5 extra wide. They also fit perfectly plenty of room in the front, I don’t feel the steel toe at all. And it doesn’t feel like they need any break in. They are super comfortable right out of the box. 10 years ago I was a size 10.5/11. I don’t know if my feet are growing or shoes are shrinking but thankfully, these boots feel amazing. I don’t notice any feeling of walking on cleats. I love them. And I am picky. ... show more

There slightly heavy in your feet especially after a long day, price is fair based on the quality of the boots which are nice, they fit true to size, they look good , arch support is good and boots do feel stable and supported, scratches show on the rubber part of the boots, stability and traction are fair ... show more

I have had these boots for over 4 months now. The work I do calls for 3 weeks straight of 10 hour days and includes things like breaking pavement, shoveling rock and mud, pouring concrete both into small pads and hauling buckets of it to fill and dome off big steel bollards. Needless to say, it's strenuous on the feet and also extremely hard on clothes and shoes. Cheap boots get hard on the feet after a few hours and low quality leather does not stand up to the work. All in all, these have been an excellent work boot. I have always really liked the comfort and utility of hiking style boots and these are really the best of both worlds. Pros: -First and foremost, the steel toes. They have an asymetrical design, as in each toe cap is molded to fit either left or right. This is a MAJOR improvement in comfort and general utility over the usual standard shaped toe cap that's in most boots. -On that note. SUPER comfortable right out of the box. No break in period whatsoever. As I mentioned I work very long days on my feet and the comfort provided by these has been a huge deal. -Design: both the tread pattern and the waterproofing are on point, zero complaints. CONS: -The laces. They honestly suck so bad that I ended up replacing them with another brand. Would not stay tied during work and ended up just fraying. I honestly want to subtract a star for it but I'm otherwise happy so I won't. But if you get these and plan on using them heavily just plan on replacing the laces. All in all these are great and I will definitely be buying Keen work boots again for as long as I need steel toed boots. ... show more
