I wanted a high quality leather purse, but I didn't want the price. I searched for weeks, all over, in store and online. This bag is the perfect balance of quality, fashion and price. My favorite things- Size- My biggest concern was the size. I'm a short, petite female and I didn't want to have a bag that dwarfed me or looked like a suitcase. I compared measurements to everything, lol. In many reviewers pics, this looks huge, but it isn't. I ordered the large, and it is perfect heigth and width for me. Quality- this bag is well made in everyway. The stitching is well done and strong, the zippers are smooth, the hardware is beautiful and sturdy. The bottom has the four studs to prevent scratching and wear. The handles and strap are durable and soft. Interior- I love organization, not just a huge hole to dump things in. There are two main compartments, one slightly larger, and they are divided by a zippered compartment that goes al the way to the bottom. There is a zippered pocket on one side, and two open pockets on the other. So much storage and convenient access for cell phone or glasses etc. The interior is a beautiful brown satin that adds to the beauty of the purse. Exterior- this is genuine leather and smells amazing!! It is between a soft and hard leather and has texture to the surface. Mine isn't glossy as it appears in other reviews pics. Mine is more of a pumpkin color, tho the description said Sorrell. It doesn't have the beautiful dimensions as seen in the ad, but it is still a beautiful purse/bag. I took pics in diff lighting to try to show the color. This bag also stands up on its on with items inside. When fully empty it will slouch because of the weight of the handles. After buying fake leather purses (P.U. leather) for years I decided to treat myself and get myself a nice quality leather bag. I am so glad I picked this one! The craftmanship is excellent! It's sturdy, durable, and has plenty of space, which is very important since I need to have a BIG bag. It is a beautiful orangey-brown color and is comfortable on my shoulder. (Personally I find it better to use without the shoulder strap that's included. The handles are large enough to fit under my arm.) There are three sections inside the bag (one with middle zipper) and there are inside pockets as well. Finally, the price of the bag is an incredible bargain for the quality you get. I had this bag for a week now and I couldn't be happier with it. I highly recommend this! It's been almost 2 years and I'm still loving this bag! It's a little worn out (not bad) but I carry a lot of stuff and use it every day, so it's to be expected. The point is, it still looks nice! It's a really great purse! ... show more

I needed a decent size purse but I did not want something too heavy. The handles can go over your shoulder unless wearing a heavy coat. The strap works well and does not slip even though it is not super wide. It also does not hang super low, but I can wear as a cross body even with my winter coat on. The lining and pockets are nice. You have a perfect place for the phone and some other pockets. I need more pockets than most and I guess my only complaint would be I wish they had the clip for car keys. But I can live without it. No pockets on the outside keeps it smooth and also keeps the clutter down. I love the color! The deep blue with purple tones is lovely. For a genuine leather bag, this is a beautiful product. Hardware is quality, bag feels soft, but sturdy, and the color is perfect. I don't usually splurge on higher-end or expensive bags, so this is a big purchase for me (with a lot of time to consider). I would give this bag five stars if it had an easy access pocket on the outside for phone/keys. My biggest complaint is that the strap to carry crossbody is too long. Sadly, I will have to punch a new hole for a comfortable length. I'm 4'11" and the strap has the bag hanging underneath my hips, I wanted a length higher and overall, it's just too long to hang from the purse even though it is at the last notch. The strap is my least favorite part of the purse. It's like they took the time and care to make the bag, but when it came to the strap, it looks and feels like crap. ... show more

Excellent quality for the money. Nice leather, hardware, and liner. The strap that came with it is fine but I prefer to use a wider guitar style strap. The middle zipper compartment is attached at bottom so side items are kept from sliding all over. Easy to see inside and access everything. I ordered sorrel in XL. Love the size for a daily work purse / tote. I can easily fit a wristlet inside to grab when I don’t want the big bag. It will be great for travel as well. ... show more

(see edit below)...I ruin purses. I carry everything in my purse and have survived an unexpected emergency room visit with what was in my purse - snack, meds, water bottle, etc. This purse is perfect for me (purchased the XL) and holds everything I need to go out with the kids. It's like a mini carry on. Lol. It works for me. And it looks stylish too. I added a small scarf to add some color. EDIT-as you can see in the pictures, one of the straps that holds the handle, is hanging on by a thread. This is within less than 3 months into use. I'm sad to see this on a leather purse.
