I wanted so badly to give this bag 5 stars! It deserves 5 stars for its quality, its design (number of compartments, pockets, size, etc), and the material from which it’s made. But what I dislike soooo much is that shiny, yellow metal! I thought it would be a silver color on the black bag. I couldn’t really tell in the picture. And if it stated “gold-colored metal” in the description, I apologize that I missed it. Even the feel of the metal, the weight of it, and the placement of it, deserves 5 stars. But that gaudy bright yellow just totally cheapens the look of the bag. And it’s something I can’t get past. Yellow metal would probably be ok on the brown or tan bag. But not the black for sure. So even though I love everything about this bag, the yellow color of this metal will cause me to toss it in a corner somewhere and not use it. And that’s something that I can’t afford to do. So now I have to try and return it. But if you’re looking for a nice-sized bag, and a fan of yellow gold, you’ll love this bag because it has a lot of it. And it’s all in the right spots! This is a nice wine color which has been trending this year. It is medium in size. I thought it would be a little bigger but it is big enough. The shoulder strap is a nice plus. I really liked this bag, the leather was beautiful. I ordered the red. A nice deep rich color. I think it looks expensive, roomy, very well made. But it was so heavy that I kept trying to think of ways not to carry it into a store. Well, what's the point of buying it if you don't want to take it everywhere you go?
