I had an original pair with gold/brass backing and lost an earring. These have a silver backing but the stones are exactly the same. These are absolutely gorgeous earrings however the backs kept coming off and caused me to lose one of them. Had this NOT been the case then these would have been my all time favorite because they were beautiful and. Well made with the exception of the backs. But since the backs were defective it lost my faith in Kate spade products that I have been the greatest fan of. Without both of the earrings its nothing. Just another wasted purchase.
