These are absolutely adorable pot holders. The lemon design, mixed with white and blue plaid fabric on the underside, is a classy and somewhat timeless summertime mixture of colors that feels fresh. The green leaf of the lemon design is printed onto the fabric, and the entire surface of the lemon, except for the rim, has interspersed clear and rubbery dots that provide grip to the surface when gripping a pot or pan. There is only a moderate amount of padding in these pot holders, but it does the job in regards to preventing too much transfer of heat. The seam for the yellow rim of the lemon is in somewhat of an odd location, at the tip of the lemon instead of at the base near the leaf, and the asymmetric location may bother some. These do not come up very high on the wrist, but they are super cute. 100% cotton with little grippy bumps, they would make a nice gift. I have a tendency to burn my wrists and forearms on the oven racks, so this literally falls short for me, but they look nice hanging in your kitchen and would be cute as part of a themed gift in a basket or colander. I use these on my table as protection from hot casserole pans or pots. ... show more
