As they should, they help prevent you from being burned when you’re grabbing hot stuff. They look nice while doing it. The quality of the item is nothing out of the ordinary, but I find it to be perfectly acceptable. They seem to fit just a bit on the small side compared to some others I’ve used in the past which would basically fit anyone. If you do have very large hands, these probably aren’t for you. They seem to be a reasonable value for the money, but you are of course paying a bit more for the name in this case. If you don’t care about the name or the pattern, you could likely find a better deal looking elsewhere. However, if you’re looking for a fashionable oven mitt and are willing to pay just a bit more for it, I think this is a good choice, barring you don’t have particularly larger than average sized hands. ... show more

These are great. Classic oven mitts. Seem well sewn. Good thickness. Felt warmth but never hot. I like the color pepper design too. Always worried about my larger hands fitting in oven mitts and these fit fine. Definitely reccommend them.

These oven mitts are a thick material and work well for high temps. I didn't feel any heat when removing a dish from the oven. They're long and provide ample coverage of my hands and arms. The design is bright and colorful. Nice addition to my kitchen.
