It works fine I guess, but since it is velvet, there are shadows so you can't really use it as a green screen.

The fabric is an almost velvet like texture which my photo shows changed the intensity of the green. This is more of a forest green than a bright green typically used for green screen. The fabric's tenancy to have shadows and highlights makes it ineffective as a green screen backdrop.

It is a ok quality backdrop but it is very confusing in its description. I was expecting other material based on the description. Also the packaging says 70% Cotton and 30% Polyester while the product itself says 100% Polyester. It reminds me the material kids pajamas were made out of and the fuzziness is definitely not a trait I was looking for :( Cannot send it back due to a work assignment urgency, otherwise I would’ve and looked for something more along the line of blended, matte non fuzzy fabric. ... show more

    • Good for the money but more goes into a good result than just the background

This is my first green background so I'm not really calibrated as to what is a good background. This item seems reasonably durable at least for home use. What I found is the background isn't all that goes into a good result. The most important thing is to have uniform color. To achieve this I had to get the background to be as flat as possible - no wrinkles or waviness, and to have uniform light striking it. The uniform light was very difficult in the daytime with windows asymmetrically placed around the room. I also found (at least for my situation) that wearing a light colored shirt helped a lot, perhaps reflecting light in the right place to make the light more uniform. Great quality, velvet like, wrinkle free after letting it hang. when I use it on zoom though my face washes out. I tried more lighting, less lighting, special photo lighting. I take it down and use the white background and my PC camera darkens my face to normal. It may just be my camera, I'm not sure. ... show more

This product was much nicer than I expected. The velour finish does not have a reflective sheen, and the color is completely consistent throughout. There are no translucent areas. The fabric weight is substantial, so it doesn't flutter or sway when clipped to the frame. I had a little trouble reducing the wrinkles, but the residual ones have not affected image quality. ... show more

I ordered the 5x7 size but it was just a tad too narrow after installation so I turned it sideways (7x5) and it worked perfectly...I did NOT do anything about the creases and fold marks...no need to...they do not interfere with the image at all. Great product especially for the price...would recommend... ... show more

    • If you are streaming do not buy this!
I do a stream on twitch fireresistantpodcast we ordered this to fill our back ground and because its not the correct color of green it messed with our camera. It's not even close to the color in the picture, its a lighter fuzzy green. I wouldn't recommend this at all
