My 8 y/o desktop was unable to be upgraded to Windows 11 and Microsoft was discontinuing Win10 support in a few months, so I began the search for a replacement. Found this mini PC on sale and was intrigued by its size and performance, as well as the positive reviews. So I took the plunge. The mini worked great out of the box. I planned to use PCMover Pro to migrate, but wanted to get used to Win11 before doing that, so I spent a few days exploring Win11 and doing Windows updates. After one update and restart, Windows would start and display the user sign-in page. However, the password box was not active to type in and if I clicked on it the program would close the page and reopen it. Called customer service – connected to a very pleasant person named Emma, who became my ongoing contact. She sent me a series of Google instructions of things to try – only problem was you had to be in Windows to do them. Finally found a way to do Windows Restore without being in Windows, but the Restore wouldn’t complete correctly. Emma elevated my problem to approve a replacement, and after a couple of communications glitches, I returned the original and they shipped a replacement. The replacement also worked great out of the box. It updated successfully to the most recent system. I installed a 1TB SSD easily in the lower tray and migrated my old system to this one with PCMover. All went smoothly. I’ve been using the mini for a few weeks with no issues or problems. I am amazed at how much faster it is than my former desktop. I have relocated my very large Downloads and Pictures library folders to the D:\ drive with no issues, so I am a happy camper. Some observations: The provided manual is pretty basic. The telephone customer service is very responsive and helpful if you have issues. If you want tech info, I found the Best MiniPC Forum very informative. Other reviewers have mentioned that the fan is noisy, and it is clearly audible at times. The alternative would seem to be a fanless mini that throttles down the processor when it comes to a certain temperature, slowing down the computer. I’ll take an occasional fan noise. ... show more

This is a remarkable computer at a rock-bottom price. The processor on mine is an Intell H100, which is about as fast as a 10-year old Intel i5. But unlike an older computer, mine has a 500GB fast NVME SSD, which makes the system very responsive. It also supports two 4K monitors, two USB 2 and two USB 3 ports. Also it is as light as a laptop and uses less power than most. This is the perfect computer for most people who still want a real monitor and keyboard. However, it does come with an unusal version of Windows 11 Pro. First thing I noticed when I powered it up is that Chrome was present on the desktop. Never saw that before. So I told Windows to reset the system, with a fresh copy of Windows downloaded from the Internet. When it came up, Chrome was still there. Never saw that either. So I zeroed the drive, downloaded Windows on another machine, and installed Windows from a flash drive. Chrome was no longer on the desktop, but now I had Windows 11 Home, instead of Pro. Never, ever saw that before. I conclude that the system comes with a special version of Windows, probably the one used in China. I call in PRC windows. Is that bad? I say No. Because if that bothers you, you can still download and install a 100% genuine US version of Windows for free. Microsoft knows the machine is licensed, and you don't need an activation code to install and use Windows 11 Home. I also installed Ubuntu Linux on it, and now I dual boot the machine. I recommended this machine to a friend, and he loves it. I've also recommended it to my computer club, and mostly everyone else who will listen. However I always, always, tell them it comes with PRC Windows. ... show more

Bought this specifically as a cheap route to play Sims on until I can splurge for a better one because a couple other users had recommended it. I’ve only had it for about 3 weeks, but so far I’m impressed. I’ve downloaded a TON of mods to my game and this computer has handled them flawlessly. I’m afraid to stress the machine, so I keep my graphics on medium across the board. Normally with a lot of mods on the sims, your load screen times will start to increase but so far I’ve had quick loading every time. I was looking for a home PC to replace my MacBook laptop. MacBook is from 2015 so it was running very slow and out of date. I know I have options to update it but I was looking to switch to windows. I work in IT so I was very surprised to see the specs for the price. I also found a discount code to use which made it more convincing. The computer started up right away. Very minimal set up and quick log in. I love that it came with word and excel included. I was a huge apple fanboy but my work uses windows and I have gotten more adjusted to window settings and capabilities. Plus this one came with 1Tb of storage! Photos app on windows made it super easy to offload pictures from my iPhone. The design and look is nice and aligned with a windows computer. I feel overall quality is a solid 8/10. I am mostly using for expense tracking and email. No noise at all from this unit. And the built in fan comes in handy if I ever decide to overwork it. ... show more
