I purchased this as a gift for my 9year old daughter as she loves everything about art, just like her mother! I recently started to branch out from painting to sketching and using colored pencils and she loved using my materials and of course anything I have she has to have one of her own. I didn’t want to get a bunch of different kits, one with sketching pencils and materials then another with colored pencils and so on. That’s what I loved about this, it had everything in one case. The case itself I have to add is great quality and material. The reason I chose this one over the others though is because of the number of colored pencils included. Unlike the others that have 12 regular colored pencils, 12 water color and 12 metallic, this had 72 colored pencils which was what she wanted more. I was unsure of the quality of pencils as I haven’t used this brand before but I figured she’s 9 so I’m sure they will be fine. Oh and they absolutely were! They are extremely soft with great pigment! Of course a few of them are a little waxy but still better than most! I added a photo of this brand compared to my Prismacolor pencils and as you can see they are pretty similar. Definitely a great value for the money and I am very happy with this purchase, my daughter is too! ... show more
