I wasn't expecting this monocular to be this good for such an inexpensive price. Easy to use and light weight. BAK-4 prism same used in much higher priced binoculars. I must say after 14x magnification you will need a tripod because it's very powerful, overall very happy.

This was purchased to use with my iPhone & a sun filter to take photos of the eclipse. It comes with a clamp that is supposed to hold the lens against the camera of the phone. It does not do so because the lens moves around no matter how tightly it’s screwed down. It might be useful for taking regular (non-eclipse) photos, but was a real disappointment for what is likely the last eclipse I’ll ever live to see. ... show more

The main factor that when it comes to these scopes is how sharp the magnified image is. The more you pay, the bigger things can get while staying sharp. Second factor is how bright the image is. The larger the lens, or the better the optics, the brighter the image. I have smaller scopes that are both brighter and sharper than this. They're not all that much more expensive. Lesson learned. When it comes to optics, you have to stay with brand names and not roll the dice with Chinese no name brands. (with exception to Svbony where most of their scopes are excellent) ... show more

The K&F Concept® 80x100 Monocular-Telescope came in a decent package with the monocular, a little carry bag, a small tripod, and an adapter. The monocular functions well, delivering a nice, crisp, clear image at decent resolution. The focus is smooth but crisp, the tripod functions as such with a nice tight coupling between scope and tripod, and the lenses offered very little chromatic distortion. I have reviewed many of these, and this K&F concept scope ranks very well among them. The price on offer for a monocular is a bit impressive on its own. With a coupon or some such - say $10 off - it will move into the "buy me at this excellent price!" range. Recommend, for what it is - a relatively inexpensive monocular. Rating : 5 stars!
