    • Noisier than I'd like; husband doesn't notice it.
My husband and I share a home office, and with our computers on, it gets warm in here. So I thought this fan would be a good way to help keep the air moving. At the lowest speed, it emits a higher-pitch whine, but even at higher speeds, it's not what I would call quiet. My husband tunes it out after a few minutes, but every time I come and go in and out of the room, I hear it. It has a certain pitch that just annoys me. So if you're sensitive as well, I'd probably pass on this unless you're going to have enough ambient noise where you can tune it out. I am stunned, though, that it is advertised for dashboard use in a car!! For one things, all cars have vents in the dash, so why would this even be needed? And how is it legal to have something this large mounted to your dash where it will block your view?? I would never put it there. I could see it being useful on the center console to help with getting more airflow in the backseat. But the front seat? No. ... show more

    • Small, powerful USB fan that doesn't sound like a whirlwind
I like how compact this two-fan unit is. I don't use it in the car as is marketed but for a drum booth. The rotary knob in the center controls the fan speed and it is variable--you are not limited to 3 speeds. I like the fact that I can control the speed and noise-level of this fan since I'm specifically using this in a drum booth. There are microphones inside that can pick up the loud sounds of a fan. This fan is not that loud anyway, but to be able to control the speed/sound is helpful. The drum booth is hot and I'm hanging this overhead to provide the drummer with some additional air. I'm able to pivot the fans in one direction for my purpose. It did not come with a wall plug. I have not tested the adhesive, as I am using tie wraps to hang them. ... show more

The overall size is 9 in long 6 in tall and about 3 in deep. It has two adhesive pads on the bottom, I will probably add more so it will stick securely. Them fans themselves are adjustable, and can be moved and through multiple positions. As far as the speed of the fan, it has a infinite dial, meaning the more you turn dial the faster the fan spins. This is a decent fan that I originally bought to help stave off the heat in my car, since the air conditioning has been out. However it didn't do very well. I wanted a fan that can sit on my desk and keep the air circulating. This did the job. Since both fans can be positioned independently, I could make sure the air flowed without disturbing items on my desk. It did have double-sided tape on the bottom to attach to a surface, but I did not use that feature. The fan speed is adjustable, but both fans must be at the same speed. I used this as a last-ditch effort to somehow cool myself in the used truck I bought recently. I had minimum expectations in the TX heat but I was pleasantly surprised by the power and airflow these fans provided! The ZCreater Car USB Fan move a lot of air, quiet and use little power. At the lowest speed it uses only 1.6w and is quiet. At maximum speed it uses 4.1w with noticeable fan noise. Could be somewhat bulky to use in a car but on a computer desk it is great.
