My wife has several bigger bags, but more and more times, she found that she just did not need as much space. We started looking for smaller bags that are still nice. I saw this one from JW PEI, and decided to get it for her. She really likes it. The bag arrived in great condition. It was packed with minimal material, mostly thin paper. I had the bag unpacked in about 2 minutes. The quality of the material is very good. It's tough, but still flexible. The leather feels very soft. And the color has a lovely, natural quality. I don't quite like the bright gold company logo on the front of the flap, but at least it's fairly small. The flap swings open easily, and I really like the magnetic closure. Inside, the bag makes good use of the relatively small space. It has an additional zippered pouch, and the zipper opens and closes smoothly with no snags. After using this bag many times over the past few weeks, it still looks great -- no scratches or discoloring, and the material still feels like new. The strap is a bit short. My wife is 4'11", but she says it's just enough as a cross-body. If you're taller, this might be a problem for you. If you're looking for a small, well-made bag, this one is a good option. No doubt, the JW PEI Women's Debby Flap Crossbody bag has a lot of good qualities about it. I like that the company was started by a husband-wife team in California. I don’t like that the bags are mass-produced in China. JW PEI folks describe the location where the bags are made as “the flower town of Guangzhou, China.” However, low wages, long hours and excessive overtime remain the norm among Chinese laborers, and I highly doubt they have time to “smell the flowers” in Guangzhou. 💮 Anyway, I’m downsizing everything in my life and that includes my handbag, and this crossbody bag works well for that purpose. It will carry a few credit cards and my cell phone in it. I’m also happy about the vegan leather. However, I think the polyester lining is an inexpensive material and doesn’t justify the retail price of the bag. ✅ In addition, what I really like is the magnet snap on the flap that keeps the bag securely closed. 💮 Overall, if you have it in your budget and your in the market for a nifty little bag, I’d recommend this one. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

I am a huge fan of JW Pei and this cloud bag did not disappoint! It is super spacious but not bulky. The strap is adjustable so it can be used as a shoulder bag or crossbody. The material is top quality.

he Debby Flap Crossbody is one of JW Pei’s newest bags. It’s the perfect size for carrying essentials and has several new branding additions that elevate the purse, making it chic with a high-quality feel. The vegan leather is also so, so soft - if I didn’t know better, I would say it was real leather. It has that nice soft feel almost like a lambskin bag. The leather is also slightly puffy instead of hard and flat which was a nice surprsie. This bag also comes with new branding on it. The first new branding addition was the brand logo imprinted into the leather on the sides; it’s a subtle addition that makes the bag look much more luxurious. The next addition is the etching of the JW Pei name on the zippers. These additional touches give the bag an almost luxury designer touch - it’s a smart move on JW Pei’s part as they are aiming to be an affordable luxury line. The bag measures 8.65'' W × 5.31'' H × 2.36'' D. It has gold hardware giving it a classy look. I got the white vegan leather option for reference. I chose white to match my spring/summer wardrobe colors. I hope this purse doesn’t get any color transferred onto it - will update as I use it more. Inside the bag, there is 1 interior slit pocket and 1 zipper pocket. This crossbody can be used for several different occasions. Although this purse is very pretty and stylish, it is a bit bulkier than I expected it to be. I'm not sure how I'd feel carrying it around in a dance club, but it would be great for a date or a casual night out.

I love this bag! It’s the perfect small size to wear when you’re going out and don’t want to carry a big bag. I love the stamp on the bottom corners, makes it look very high end. The strap is just a little on the short side for a crossbody strap. For size reference I have it on the last hole from the end and I am 5’10” and weigh about 150.
