  • INCLUDED: This set includes 2 black permanent deep reach markers, 2 ink refill bottles, and 2 replacement tips all stored in a sturdy reusable case. Also called long reach / nib / nose marker.
  • PRECISION: The metal shaft is 3 mm wide, has a reach of 30 mm, and a felt tip of 2 mm that will provide the strictest precision. Perfect for use on most dry and wet surfaces.
  • HANDLING: Easy one-handed handling. Attach the clip to your pants or belt, place your thumb on the top of the clip, push with your thumb and pull with your index and middle finger until the marker releases from the cap.
  • INK REFILLING: Each marker is refilled with a few drops of ink from the included refill bottles. Simply remove the cap, unscrew the marker head, push the foam back into the barrel, and add at least 3 drops of ink.
  • TIP REPLACEMENT: If your tip wears down it can be replaced by removing and replacing the old tip with a pair of pliers. If the tip is too worn down to grip with pliers, unscrew the marker head, push the foam into the barrel, and then push the rear of the tip out from behind. After replacing the tip, place the marker tip down in a cup and wait at least 5 minutes for the new tip to absorb ink. It is recommended to add 3 drops of ink to the foam barrel to speed up the felt tip hydration process.

I ordered this because I install chemical dispensers for work and most of the dispenser mounting brackets are predrilled and the holes are deeper than a regular Sharpie marker tip. I would have to pull out part of the tip of the marker to make it reach through and essentially ruin the marker. This long thin tipped marker works great for this. I have been using them for a few months and the markers work great. It does come with replacement tips and ink refills. The refill is the reason for taking off 1 star. I had kept the refill in a pocket on my tool bag and in its case, perhaps due to the heat of being in a truck in the summer the ink had leaked out of the refill and made a mess. I now leave the refills at home until I need them. I have recommended them to my coworkers and tell them not to leave the refills in your truck. ... show more

These are great for marking through holes to drill for screws. I was forcing regular markers through holes to mark the spot to drill pilot holes. It ruined the marker after a few uses and would sometimes not mark at all. It was wasting a lot of time on repetitive work. I stumbled across these long reach markers and they're awesome! I've been using the same one for weeks and it never fails to mark the spot. These have saved me a lot of time and money. I'll be buying more. I am not even sure how I came across this pen, but knew I had to have it. Sometimes when mounting a bracket or device, the hole you want to mark is too small or too deep for a Sharpie or pen to fit. I have used everything from grease to spray paint to the felt from a broken Sharpie clamped in a Vise Grip. It has been used on Lexan, painted steel, aluminum, and stainless steel all without issue. It will mark anywhere you would expect a standard Sharpie to mark. This pen solves a problem that I would say isn't common for me, but frustrating when it occurs.
