I like how the strap goes behind the buckle so it's always tucked in. The belt itself feels high quality and the ratcheting system feels solid.

After wearing this belt 9 to 5 as a heavy equipment mechanic she finally gave and the mechanism broke. For 20 dollars that is not bad. Needless to say I purchased another one. I'm a fat guy and this belt held back a ton of weight for it to finally snap. If the ribs wear out on one side just unscrew the buckle and use the fresh side. Worth every penny ... show more

Have 4 of these now in some different colors. Easy to adjust and stays clasped no issues as long as there is normal strain on the belt, can slip a little if I do way overstress the belt. Buckle is painted so it does scratch a little over time. 5 stars if it came with a stainless buckle option. Likely will buy more over time as I could use a couple more colors.     • WOW!!!! I've never been this impressed by a simple belt.

I was super surprised at the fact that the belt came in an elegant box and soft draw-string bag. I could tell just from how they packed it, that this company takes A LOT of pride in their belts. Examining it, the buckle feels like very strong steel (or some kind of heavy grade aluminum). Putting it on, the teeth in the buckle hold super secure to the nylon material which is thick, but not too stiff so it's flexible enough to wear comfortably with slacks. The belt release lever is perfectly placed for a very easy release, but the spring is stiff enough to not accidently release the belt. For me this is a multi-use belt replacing a worn out leather belt as well as one of my dress belts. I also conceal carry a firearm daily and this belt is stiff enough to be perfect for my IWB holster latching onto it and keeping it in position without bending. I like it so much that I think I'm ordering another one in black so as to look a little more dressy on slackes (mine was olive green). ... show more

I became fascinated with ratchet belts. I looked at numerous belts, all costing 45-75 dollars. I was like "holy cats" that is kind of pricey for a belt. So I did what everybody does - a more extensive search. This one came up and it was priced so low I thought it has to be junk. But I ordered it anyway. It is well constructed, very durable, sized correctly. Packing was high end and beautiful. I am so glad I bought this. I am a small female, I got the xs size. I have room to expand. The picture makes you think this a a regular style belt with the loose end exposed. I assumed I could pull on the loose end to tighten the belt, can't do that. Loose end is between the belt and your body.
