PLEASE READ MY UPDATE AT THE BOTTOM Pros- Balls are great quality. Bag holds things nicely. And is decent quality. Paddles are well built. Cons- I have bracketed this next part as it no longer applies sine the update. [The grip on the paddle is TOO THIN. We have compared with multiple other paddles and had many people hold the paddle and others. There is no getting around it. The paddle has been uncomfortable for everyone to hold. I still use it, but I am thinking of modifying it to better fit my hand. Otherwise I will have to give up on these paddles.] The ball holder part of the bag is annoying to use but functional. UPDATE: I have been contacted by the seller/manufacturer who has gone to extraordinary lengths to make me happy. He has refunded my purchase and worked with his factory to modify the handles so that they are thicker which will be rolled out soon. Honestly I am totally blown away by this. Also, since writing this review, I have taken a dremel to one of the paddles to sand away some of the wood near the top of the grip. The thinness of the handle was forcing my pointer finger to get jammed against this bracing which was causing the discomfort. Modifying the paddle in this way has greatly improved their comfort and I remain very impressed with the actual paddle surface. I have added a star to my review for such excellent customer service and will definitely be buying the updated kit when it comes out which I assume will bump up my review to a 5-star rating! Thank you so much Ping Larse! Second Update: Well, what can I say, Ping really came through. He sent me a pair of new paddles with the thicker handle. I have to say the paddles are now sooooo much more comfortable to hold! Personally, I have still gone ahead and modified them by sanding down the bracing a little bit, but I think that's just personal preference, and I didn't remove nearly as much material as before. Took 3 minutes with the dremel. I have updated my score to five stars because I now honestly believe this product deserves it. A great value for a really great set of paddles. Also, I can now say the balls included in this set are definitely great quality. I have since purchased more and different balls and these compare very favorably. ... show more

    • Good paddles and balls!
The construction is good, but the paddle pads have all started to come off. We have had to glue them now , all of them. Otherwise, the paddles are good quality, just wish better adhesive used to affix them pads to the paddle. Update Mar-18: So after my initial review, the owner of the company sent me a personal letter in the mail to apologize for the quality issues for the initial set of paddles received, issued a complete refund and sent me 4 new paddles! I'd say that's pretty exceptional customer service that unheard of these days. So, I updated my rating with the belief that Ping the President will get some attention to the paddle quality. Professional Premium Ping Pong Set. I've been playing table tennis since I was in middle school. So, I definitely know what to look for in a good table tennis paddle. What I love about this set is that it's everything you need for a one on one or doubles game. The paddles are definitely professional grade paddles. As you can see in the picture, it is double padded on each side, this is needed to create that curve or top spin in a match. (Take a look at the pictures to see the padding). If you buy a pingpong set from like WalMart, you will see that it is just single padding, so you can't create that professional spin hit. Also, It's also excellent in the hand, whether you use the West style Grip or the Easter Style grip (as per pictured). Excellent and would buy again. Highly recommended. ... show more

The paddles were great....for about 1 day. Then they all started peeling and now, after 4 days of use, the padding has peeled away from the wood on all of the paddles. 11/26 - I am changing my rating from a 1 star to a 5 star, based on the excellent customer service I received. Ping sent me a replacement paddle set immediately after I contacted him and he followed up with an email. He was very concerned that I had experienced a problem with the paddles and asked for a picture and other details. This is a guy who cares about his product and his customers. We have used the new paddles for a few days and have not experienced any peeling problems. So hopefully this was just a random occurrence. ... show more

Our old cheap ping pong paddles were just beat, and once my oldest moved his stuff out of the basement I wanted to play ping pong again with my youngest (14). I searched on Amazon for a decent mid-range set, with a 4-pack being a requirement. I was extremely impressed with the reviews of the WinLook paddles, not only for the quality but also the customer service. So I ordered this set, and have been very happy with both the paddles and the balls. My son and I have had a blast playing and getting better now that we can put some spin on the balls. Even my wife and daughter have played. We did have 1 paddle break at the edge of the rubber upon first use (the last one we used). Sure enough, the customer service from the owner himself, Ping Larse, was outstanding! We sent a picture of the broken paddle and a request for a replacement since we didn't want our money back on the set, and he sent a new one right away with a hand-written note. Wow! With this kind of quality and customer service, you can trust making a purchase online. I continue to look forward to my ping pong sessions with my son. Great fun! ... show more

Our JP WinLook (JPWL) paddles arrived promptly. I'm not ping pong expert but these paddles seem to play very well, they are comfortable in hand and everything was glued properly. The included ping pong balls are also good. A small card from JPWL that's inside the package encourages customers to contact them if there are any quality issues. Judging from the reviews that I read prior to making my purchase, it's evident that JPWL takes their customer service seriously and they do a great job of following through on customer concerns.
