Installation was super easy and it used the factory size bolts. However, when I tried to adjust the mirror, it was a little tight. I used 2 hands one on top and one on bottom and very minor pressure but the mirror came right off in my hands. The threaded post broke right near the base and the rest, with the nut and washers still on it fell to the floor. This makes me worry about driving around with the other mirror still on. *update* I emailed the company and they have said they’ll replace the mirror, I just need to send photos. *update* Got new mirrors from the company. Was able to drive all around this weekend and the mirrors held in place well. There is a whistling sound that I think I can take care of with some silicone, but not a bad product. They look good but after one trip down the highway one mirror broke already does t stay tight like the mirror it self no matter how tight you get it it'll see move. The bracket and all is good but the bolt on the back of the mirror is shot

Mirrors worked great with doors off my 2021 Jeep Gladiator. They were sturdy with speeds of 50 mph. I didn't take it on the highway, but pretty sure they would be stable at highway speeds. My only complaint is the rubber washers included were a little too thin and shredded when tightened. I plan on picking up some that are sturdier. ... show more

I should have known that they were too cheap to be good, but I was trying to save a buck or two... my bad. First off, they didn't fit correctly without bending the heck out of the L-shaped bracket. The holes for the actual mirror bolt didn't meet until I put my full weight on the L bracket and held it down long enough to shove the bolt in. Once that was done, it was very difficult to tighten everything, but I managed it. The second I got to 45 mph, though, the entire assembly pushed inward towards the car due to the force of the wind. No amount of tightening could keep them in place, so they were completely useless for me. I removed them and just tossed them - no point in going through the hassle of trying to return. ... show more

I bought these mirrors for my Jeep JK 2years ago. And loved them. They worked very well, for the most part. One of the most common issues with these mirrors is the vibrating, oh, and the sometimes falling out of position while driving, which turned out to be a very easy fix that cost all of 10 cents. I put a washer between the top bracket bar and the arm holder. and VOILA.....all vibrations and all slipping out of position gone. I mean zero! BUT, I didn't write this, for that. I wrote this to comment on the seller. Im writing this now because I usually just dont write reviews, for whatever reason. Here we are, almost April 2020, which means getting the Jeeps ready for spring and summer. I went to the garage on this, nice, particular day, intent on taking my doors off, but the mirrors the arms and the holders were all there, but not the mounting brackets.. I contacted Joy and told them of my misfortune, four, maybe five days ago. Yesterday amazon pulls up to my house with a brand new, complete set of mirrors. Now I know mirrors arent that expensive and I could've just bought a new set. In fact, Joy couldve simply charged me for them also. But this review is about CUSTOMER SERVICE. And with my mistake in losing the brackets, Joy's customer service tremendous, from a 2 year old purchase. TSW ... show more

    • Take off doors and be able to see to back up? WIN!

Wanted to wait for a couple of months before writing this review. Sometimes you get a product you like, write a quick review and then a month later it falls apart. NOT THIS PRODUCT! Great quality, durable and looks awesome on the Jeep. I get compliments all of the time on them. Easy to initially install and just takes a few seconds to install mirror once bracket is on there when I take off the doors. Only complaint I would have, which is not really a complaint, is that the passenger side mirror is not like a mirror of a regular car. “Objects are closer than they appear” does not apply and it is just a regular mirror. Sometimes seeing everything out of that side is difficult but considering how cheap these were to buy and the alternative of NOT having mirrors when I take the doors off, insignificant. ... show more
