We bought a brown medium for my husband’s costume for his holiday work party. We bought two versions, but this one was smaller, too small for a Jedi’s robe. The other brand, Golden Service, had a larger fit, better for the Jedi look. Hubby is 5’8”, 150#, 30” waist, and wears a 38 suit coat. It is made of a sturdy polyester twill fabric (same weave as denim or khakis), a lot like polyester tablecloths in drape and feel. It comes with ties at the neck. The hood is unlined, so seams show. (The Golden Service’s hood is lined.) I originally planned to make one out of brown sheets; but buying one saves me the work for the same price, and the fabric is better quality than the sheets I found. Size medium measurements: hood is 18” from top of head to neck seam; underarm to underarm is 22.5”; flares slightly to 27” across at the hem; 24.5” long sleeve; 10” across at sleeve hem; 20” across, shoulder to shoulder; 50.5” shoulder to hem. ... show more

I've got no complaints for $10! This fit my 4'3" daughter perfectly. It's lightweight and came out of the package with very few creases that worked out on their own hanging up for a few days. It made a great wizarding student costume.

I LOVE this thing. Fits my big butt better than I expected, so much so, I couldn't stop laughing. Really the only thing I'd change is the type of fabric it was made of. Just a tad too rough for folk with sensitive skin so buyer be aware of that. But definitely perfect for dressing up as a Sith Lord or even Lord Voldemort(what I'm dressing up as on the 31st) for Halloween or a comic book convention or just for grins and giggles as my mother likes to say. This hooded robe is great for the money, and is well made considering what it is made for. I am 5'11", normal build, and the Large size was a bit too small. My wife appropriated the robe, and I ordered an XLarge for myself. A fun Halloween item.
