It isn't magic, of course, it's just adhesive. But this is some good adhesive. Having gotten into a fender-bender in which the other driver was at fault, I needed something to stabilize my loose rare bumper pending figuring out their liability insurance and getting the repair done. Figured I'd try something a little more dedicated than duct tape, since I had to order something overnight for it anyway, and this is what came up. Keeping in mind that I made sure to apply the tape carefully for as many points of stability as I could, and with an eye for not leaving points where air resistance could be a problem, I've managed to steady my bumper fine with this... and I have a few strips to spare for later. So far, so good: it's been a good number of days and my car's still in one piece, and it even got unexpectedly rained on a few hours after I applied the tape to begin with, so it's passed a decent bit of stress-testing. Mind you, this is not being used to hold the full weight of the loose bumper, only to stabilize it so that it does not wobble around while driving and damage itself further. Holding your car together with tape is not a substitute for repair, it merely buys time for one. Anyway. My daughter's old 2003 jeep had a rusty sharp edge that caught on my shoe and sliced it. I used these strips to "tape over" the the sharp edge so it wouldn't cut or hurt anyone else. Worked for what we needed it for.

I have a plastic under panel that had a tab that broke off completely and while working on one side with the plastic repair kit which I also purchased from this seller was able to keep the piece where I needed it without having to worry about it moving on me. Since its aluminum it holds pretty well and won't burn off or lose its adhesive like other types of tape! Highly recommend using this to keeping pieces together while working on the other side! ... show more
