So the crickets are very convenient since it's hard to find them local. But unfortunately these crickets are so small and of course amazon drivers are not always delicate when they should be a lot of the crickets come in dead. Still gets a 5 star because the order is accurate and fast. But expect about half to be dead when they arrive. ... show more

great sellers these normally arrive alive and healthy this time they did not due to my poor planning and we got a heat wave I ordered these plus a bunch of live food for my bearded dragon unfortunately everything arrive dead how do you say refunded you should probably buy as compost in my garden. There’s no way there were 1000 crickets. My BABY bearded dragon finished off every one in 5 days! There were a lot of dead ones but still no way there were 1000. Only reason I gave 2 stars is because he likes them. I can’t get him to eat worms anymore he just wants crickets. (These are also the size of ants, which I was not expecting!) ... show more

One point off for not having substrate and room for breeding like a culture. Unfortunately, when these arrived most of them were already dead. I tried to scramble to get them set up to breed but it was too late and i lost the rest in a few days. HOWEVER, I am keeping the score high because my other interaction with this seller (fruit flies) was great, and unlike others that complain about status of live insects shipping across the country in a box, I know that it is out of the seller's hands once it enters the postal system. Where the fruit flies made it in two days, the USPS (not the seller) took three days with the crickets. Also, the outside temperature exceeded the seller's recommendation during shipment - something i knew i was risking but took the chance out of necessity. Weather is unpredictable these days and it is not the seller's fault this shipment didn't quite make it. I will still be using this seller for my next harvest of mantis food, but i will be sticking with fruit flies since they are less temperamental. ... show more
