My little one has adored crinkle books since she was a couple months old. While she’s a little older than the recommended age, she still enjoys these a lot. I really like this set of 1 crinkle books that includes both Jungle Tails and Farm Tails. These books are soft and good quality. Each page has multiple tails sticking out providing an opportunity for your baby to feel, pull, and chew (for teething relief).     • Our baby loves crinkle books - great value.
Crinkle books have been one of, if not our number one top "go to" toys that don't involve any type of electronic component or batteries for operation. The noise and feel of them have an almost instant engaging and soothing effect on our baby. These books in particular are cute because they're also interactive. They contain tails of various jungle and farm animals (two separate themed books) and it keeps our baby smiling and laughing as we read to them. The tails end up being something our baby likes to hold onto as well. I read a critique about the use of "jungly tails", which looked a little strange to me at first as well, but apparently a major baby toy brand from the UK that I'm a big fan of has a very similar crinkle book with the same exact title. Either way I don't think I would care that much considering these toys are good for kids between 3-12 months. Lol. Certainly not enough to remove a star. Lastly I'd say getting two crinkle books for under $15 gives it great value as well. Highly recommended! ... show more

These are cute books & my granddaughter loves them. Only strange thing is one of the books reads right to left but we obviously didn’t really get them “to read”.

    • Great for texture and sound - did have some concerns with the tags falling off
We got these books for our 3 month old son for some exposure to textures and something interesting to do during tummy time. He loves to crinkle the pages and feel the different textures of the tails. The books themselves are very soft. Our only concern is long term wear with the tails that should they come off the book could be a potential choaking hazard. We always watch him while having any toys that he could put into his mouth, but something to be aware of. ... show more

Two very cute fabric books; Jungly Tails and Farm Tails; with animal tails sewn sticking out of the pages. It has bright colors, crinkle noise fabric inside and recognizable animals. Each of the tails are textured and sewn very well. It withstood some rigourous tugging and stood up well. I like the velcro loop so you can use on a cart, stroller, playpen or wagon. The velcro is also very strong and stayed put while book was tugged at. The books can be hand washed only, No Dryer or Ironing. Makes a great gift. ... show more

    • Backward Pages but Fun Textured Tails
All the different textured tails are so fun and cute. The cover pages crinkle but the middle pages do not. I do like that the books come with a strong Velcro strap that you can hook onto the car seat, stroller or really anything. The Jungle book only lists the name of the animals in the book while the Farm book has a short story as the animals talk back and forth about each others tails. My biggest issue with the farm book is that two of the pages are backwards. On the left side of the page the cow is answering the chick question but the question the chick asks isn't asked till the right side of the page. This also happens with the pages with the Pig and the sheep. All other pages read well. Overall a my little one has had fun with this book the backward pages or writing (not sure how to describe it) just bug me but my little one can't read so she doesn't mind. ... show more

    • Great books, perfect for curious babies and toddlers
The media could not be loaded. I love the tails on these books, they are so sweet. The tails thankfully do not appear to shed easily although I am a tad concerned about how well the unfinished ends will hold up (see black and yellow tails in the video, unfortunately I can only find one of the books at the moment). Nonetheless I would get these again. My 11 month old’s need to bite books is satisfied with this set! ... show more
