These rhinestones are beautiful. You can tell that they are real crystal, not plastic. I have tried several colors. The Purple Velvet is an aurora borealis color which changes from sapphire to purple to fuchsia as it rotates in the light.

UPDATE: well, I'm a little disappointed now. Despite clicking "reorder" on my purchase of red stones (I know this review is for purple velvet, but Amazon won't let me write a separate one for red), the batch I got today is WILDLY different in shade from the batch I got last week, and now my project is splotchy. Very disappointed. I still love the sparkle of Jollin stones, but will definitely no longer buy two batches for the same project due to the apparent inconsistency between batches. --- Original review: I've used Jollin for a long time, and I love the quality. Very, very sparkly! The purple velvet color is a blend of pinky, purply, and blue-ish stones, which was exactly what I wanted for this project, to give it dimension. They are nice and shiny and appearance. They glue down pretty well and you get a lot for what you pay for. Haven’t seen them out on the street in action yet waiting for my brother to do that for me and I’ll update once we take out the bedazzled outfit
