So Dak Savage was stated to be a sort of Dr. Pepper like flavor. I get it, and it has hints of black cherry and vanilla, however, this has a really bizarre after taste that is borderline gross. I don't know that it is related to the herbal ingredients, the can, the sweetener or what. It's hard to enjoy this as it has a strong medicinal flavor. As for having Monk Fruit, I cannot say that this has much sweetness at all. It's bitter and a lingering stale medicinal aftertaste I cannot give it a pass. I drank a can this morning (July 8, 2022) and it delivered on teh statements. I did not feel queasy, nor light headed. I felt tuned in, focused, and had steady energy. Jocko nailed the ingredients in this. I had no crash at all, was not sleepy or tired in the afternoon. Great blend of ingredients. The taste however is a letdown. The good news, on the Jocko Podcast with Tim Kennedy, Jocko said something near the end where he mentioned the taste of some of the flavors and that they will be revamped. Dave Burke who is the man behind Afterburner Orange flavor said on his podcast with Jocko that that flavor was the best of the bunch. I really wanted to like this. I love what Jocko demonstrates as a civilian and when he was serving our country. I love that he cares to use quality ingredients, I love that he writes books and shares his ideas and thoughts on so many things from how to succeed in business (Eschelon Front), to his children books and his other products. This Jocko Discipline GO, gets a hard pass from me. I cannot buy this again, it's price prohibitive given the flavor. I hope they can dial in the flavor and make it a better product because for $38, I cannot justify it. ... show more

After trying all flavors, I can easily say that pink lemonade and afterburner orange are the best. Mango Mayhem was too sweet for my liking, and the rest were not enjoyable enough for me to buy again. These are fantastic energy drinks, once you find the right flavor for you. Modest caffeine, monk fruit flavored, B vitamin enriched, and 10 calories...100% above all the other sugar sweetened, sucralose dropping super caffeinated drinks on the market. ... show more

I have been drinking this stuff since it came out and it has always been great. This time was a different experience, and hopefully just a one off. To start, the order was delayed and took two weeks to get here. When it arrived it was not packaged as per usual, instead it was 11 loose cans thrown in a box with a piece of bubble wrap. As I unpacked them I noticed they were all beat up and dented and the cans looked different. Turns out the cans were for the tropic thunder and had been relabeled, but the correct flavor was in the can so that’s a plus. Supply chain issue possibly. As far as the new and improved formula, it is far too sweet for me and I hope they bring back the old formula. I plan on giving some other new flavors a try and hope for a better overall experience. ... show more

I just did a box of GO and A box of KillCliff ignite spicy pineapple and while I like the spicier flavor of the KillCliff better, I like that I can pound a GO that has 95g of caffeine and hammer out a workout with no jitters vs the 150g of the KillCliff (trying to reduce caffeine intake myself) so I like that I still get a buzz enough for a workout and I can even have another one of either of these later without worrying about a loss of sleep. At the end of the day, I’d say that I like both for their qualities, if you are old like me and want less caffeine GO afterburner orange is pretty good, I’ll definitely be trying more flavors. ... show more

I tried the original formula and I must admit, it was very bland. When I found out about the new and improved formula, I gave it a second shot. I’m glad I did! There is a very noticeable taste difference! I just ordered Psycho Citrus and Afterburner Orange! Both are delicious!

The flavor is great as always and it got here fast, but the bottle was wrapped in plastic. The drink is the orange crush flavor but it is in a citrus psycho bottle wrapped in an after burn plastic. Just odd.

Why is it that companies always have to be messing with their formulas. The whole reason I like Jocko Go was because it wasn't sweet, now with the new and "improved" flavor it taste sweet with that artificial sweetener taste. Pretty disappointed. The flavor is still good, but not as good as the original. Good things never last I guess. ... show more
