Extremely disappointed!!! Was a gift for my wife. Although she tried to act pleased she couldn't fake it well. The scent does NOT smell like genuine Jo Malone Vanilla and Anise, which was her favorite. It has an overpowering floral fragrance without the spicy rich vanilla and anise notes of the original. A few red flags.....was not presented in the Jo Malone signature box; although the listing does tell you it doesn't come with the box, why not?........the price is outrageously high; Jo Malone website, as well as Nordstroms charges only $135 for a 100ml bottle of any other and all GENUINE Jo Malone colognes, hmmmm?........the Vanilla and Anise is a discontinued fragrance but low and behold it can be found at an outlet store for almost double the price, imagine that!.........cannot return it because, according to the receipt, it requires special transportation and handling which they can't provide; what? how'd it get shipped to us then? Although the bottle it came in appears to be genuine that's the only thing that she found to be even remotely genuine Jo Malone. So, is this genuine Jo Malone Vanilla Anise or a knock off??? I love this cologne and would recommend it. I will keep buying it as long as Jo Malone keeps making it. It is light and pleasant and great to wear everyday.
