I purchased this violin as a gift for my daughter. Since she want to learn one instrument in her spare time. And it turns out she loves it. It is well packed and does have a good sound. Due to the reviews, I had high hopes for this. Then, it came broken. Two of the strings were unattached. One of the pegs was completely out. The pegs do not stay in well, which makes tuning difficult. One of the strings will not stay attached to the bottom. All of this made it very hard to play and I wish I would have gone ahead and spent more money on a better quality violin. ... show more
