  • Easy to Use
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a couple of weeks to use this monocular. It’s been raining here for the last couple of weeks. That did not stop me from checking out the birds and squirrels in my backyard on their feeders. The images were clear with a lot of detail. The smartphone attachment allowed me to take pics and video. I will be going camping soon and plan on using this at the campsite, on hikes, and fishing. Can also be used at sporting events and at concerts. I like this monocular very much! ... show more

  • Decent Monocular - Poor tripod
Monocular works well. Easy to focus and good field of view. Worth the price for out to about 200 yards.

  • Handy and easy use. Excellent value for the price.
This monocular is compact and sturdy. It has some heft and doesn’t feel cheap. It took a bit of practice to hold it steady while viewing, but it does a decent job of of picking out objects at long-range. The small tripod and iPhone attachments are nice add-ons. All in all, I’m pretty pleased, given what I paid for it. ... show more

  • Depends on how much you paid for it
My wife got this for me for a stocking gift for Christmas from a Black Friday sale, so she paid $40 instead of $100+ for it. Pros: Rugged - this feels solidly built and there is a rubber like coating on the outside. I haven't dropped it...yet, but it feels like it would hold up to a drop. User friendly - The controls are fairly intuitive, diopter, focus, all are intuitive. View - Looking through it, it is clear. The field of view is limited, but for $40, it is not bad. Lens Covers - these are secure and feel like they would protect the lenses from water, weather, and a drop. I like the rear cover is attached so I won't lose it, I wish the front cover was similarly attached because I will probably end up losing it. Meh: Tripod - It attaches on the monocular easily and feels like it will not move. However, the legs are small and it feels like it would get knocked over eaily if you are not careful. Cons: The phone adapter sucks, DO NOT BUY IT TO USE WITH A PHONE. First, I have an iPhone ProMax with three lenses, this only allows for one lens. I tried all three with the adapter and what I saw on my phone was horrible. I then used my son's iPhone 12 with only one lens, same result. The pictures from this on your phone will not turn out very well. Telephoto - My wife was disappointed it was fixed and not adjustable. I don't mind for what I am going to use it for. Overall If you paid $40 for this, it is a good monocular. If you paid more than $100 it is not a good monocular. ... show more

  • Cheap and ineffective
This item appears cheaply made right out of the box. When communicating with seller, they are unwilling to be helpful in any way, including refusing returns. I had to get in touch with Amazon who was able to take care of the issue. I did attempt using this scope several times. The best I could get focuses on was about 30’ away…so I could basically see that distance better with the naked eye. Would not recommend. Got a monocular from different company and am very happy with that one. This one went into the trash. ... show more

  • Great product
I bought this item as a gift for my dad. Needless to say it has been a huge hit he uses it all the time. I got the item on sale and couldn't be happier with the purchase as it is going to good use.

  • Not "60mm object lens diameter monocular"
There are several things wrong with the description of this product. 1. It is not "60mm object lens diameter monocular" but about 42mm (photo). The 60mm diameter lens allows 2 times more light through the system than 42mm, which makes a big difference. 2. By convension the "40x60 Monocular" (which is in the title) means a monocular has the 40x magnification. To be honest, the description states "10X magnification" - which is confusing/contradicting the title. I found a 8x42 monocular from FEEMIC (~$40 in Amazon) with approximately same magnification (8 vs 10) is much better by the optical quality. So I think the current "Monocular Telescope" is overpriced. Btw, I think the only reason the monocular is touted "Telescope" is bc it allegedly has 10x magnification which is a starting magnification for telescopes. The pro for this monocular is the included smartphone adapter. ... show more

  • Great clarity
I went out on a limb when purchasing this item. I bought this specifically to try to use when sighting in rifle optics and so far it has exceeded expectations. Very clear field of view at a distance that does not disappoint. Typically using for detail at 100 yards but can clearly see objects beyond this point. I would and have recommended this monocular to friends with similar needs ... show more
