It took a while for me to install these. It was a little easier than I anticipated but one gave me just enough trouble to bring the ease rating down a bit. I did have to go online to peek at a "how to video". I personally am still up in the air about these. They do look nice, but I am not fully sold on the look. However, that is a personal preference. Overall, the lights are nice, they work well and look nice. Other people have mentioned the clips breaking during install, mine did not break but I can see how they would so just be cautious. ... show more

These are made out of probably the cheapest plastic I’ve ever seen. The first one I bought came broken. The second one I got I went to go snap into place gently and it broke. I’ve never seen such cheap material in a long time.

The fit is not the best, it doesn't fit as snug as the original. While installing them, the clip snaps off, it is thin and brittle. I would look for other options if I need to order again.

I really like the look of these and I've left them installed for now, but I have a feeling I'll end up reinstalling my original ones. It's really too bad because they look sharp on the Jeep. My two big negatives are they do not sit flush in the fender cutout. They are slightly inset so it leaves a gap (see pics). That point I can sorta live with. Next, the clips on both sides broke during installation so I am thinking they will work free over time and need to be taken back out. The new pieces have two hooks at the bottom and then it swings up and clips in the top side. The clips on both sides broke during installation. After I broke the first one, I went ahead an did the second one being hyper vigilant about the clip and it broke too, so this is really not a 'me' problem and it just seems brittle. Other than that, they are plug and play and look nice, but will unfortunately probably need to come back out unless I remove the entire fender and figure out a different way to address the retainer clip missing. ... show more

It looks great! Loving the whole smoked blackout appearance. Some people reviewed that the clips broke when installing. I can see how it can happen, so be gentle with it until it's installed and you're fine!
