I love this for big events as I can enclose my eye more and not have to worry about bright lights and sun getting into the view finder. When I have this eye piece on, it sometimes the sensor for the view finder doesn’t auto switch to the main screen. Makes sense because this shroud cover more and hangs over the sensor but have that in mind. As easy as pressing a button on these Z cameras though so not a problem. It sticks out more from the camera body, which stops your nose from accidentally activating the touchscreen. And the larger eyecup is a godsend for those who wear glasses.     • Poorly designed, pushes you unnecessarily far from the eyepiece

It's very difficult to see all four corners of the screen unless you really jam this into your eye socket. This is an unnecessary problem caused by two design flaws: 1. the plastic portion of the eyecup that clips to the camera is too thick and creates a narrow chimney around the finder lens. 2. the rubber portion has a neck where it attaches to the plastic part which wastes several mm of depth. The eyecup should start flaring immediately, that way it would reach the necessary width without pushing your eye too far from the finder lens. ... show more

I ordered the model of this eye-cup that was made to fit my Fujifilm X-T4 camera. Once it arrived, I removed the factory original and slid this one down on the mounting groves until I heard it snap into place. A bit later, I noted that when I used the camera, the bottom of the eye-cup was lightly rubbing on the top of the cameras rear articulating screen when I opened or closed it. This probably will not be a major problem, but I cannot help wonder if the constant rubbing over time will remove the finish on the top edge of the rear camera screen. ... show more
