This doll came exactly as pictured. It is good quality and finely detailed. Hair is painted on but looks real at a distance. She’s had a bath, and we just popped her head off to dry her (which was kind of creepy given how realistic these dolls look). I was skeptical that this doll would look as good as (or frankly, anything resembling) the product pictured, but daughter had her heart set on her, so we ordered her- daughter is thrilled with her and I am impressed. The reborn doll looks realistic. It will be great to model crochet baby clothes on. Which is why I bought it. I'll be honest I'm a little creeped out with how real it looks lol. But that's a me thing, nothing against the manufacturer. I was not expecting that since I had seen mixed reviews on how realistic or durability. I see. Revoeewd it stinks and looks very bad and falls apart or isn't easy to pose. This is not my experience. I feel badly people may have gotten a doll that slipped by manufacturer inspection standards. But in my opinion it is worth the money. As I have got a very well pit toogther doll. The arms legs and head are easy to pose. Has a good weight. We bought this baby doll as a Christmas gift for our youngest granddaughter who is one year old. As a grandmother, I immediately fell in love with the online pictures of this doll; it had such a sweet expression and looked so real! (It actually looked a lot like our granddaughter did as a newborn baby.) I couldn’t wait to give it to her as a gift! The doll arrived very quickly and was packaged in a nice, sturdy box with all of the accessories included (bottle, rattle, pacifier, headband, and baby toy). I was super excited to get it out of the box and look at it. However, when I removed the doll from the plastic bag that it was in, I was surprised by how stiff and hard it was. I thought it was supposed to feel similar to a real baby. Then I removed its little hat, and was totally shocked by the shape of its head; it was very “caved in” at the temples - much worse than the normal curves of a baby’s head. I REALLY wanted to love this doll and to give it to our granddaughter, but I just couldn’t get past the weird shape of its head. I tried to hide it with the baby hat and with the headband, but there was no getting past it. I finally showed it to my daughter (the mother of the granddaughter for whom I bought the doll) and asked what she thought. She agreed that it’s head was too strange looking, and added that it’s body was made of such hard material that it didn’t feel like a real baby at all. I also showed the baby doll to two of our older granddaughters (age 9 and 13), hoping that they might like it and want to keep it. The first thing they said was, “What’s wrong with its head? It looks weird!” Needless to say, I initiated a return/refund through Amazon. They sent everything that I needed electronically to return the doll, and I dropped it off at the local UPS Store, which was a super easy process. ... show more

I was very disappointed when I took her out of the plastic. SHE IS AS HARD AS A ROCK!! I was so disappointed for my 4 year old granddaughter. I could tell by the look on her face it wasn’t what she was hoping for. The pacifier won’t stay in her mouth ( the magnet is not strong enough) and that was disappointing to her. She will need to be redressed in premie clothes before newborn are too big. Believe me you can’t find many premie outfits unless you pay several dollars. Overall, I would say DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! If your little granddaughter has been dreaming of a “real newborn baby “ don’t disappoint her with this stiff and rock hard item. ... show more
