I was really nervous about the sizing of this skate. My daughter wears a women’s size 12. I know that’s a euro size 44. So that’s what I ordered even though the description said 44 was a women’s size 11. The skates came and they’re perfect! She plans to swap out the wheels but I think the wheels are fine for now. The set came with a few extras including hardware, tools, and a carrying bag. I was excited about that. These are perfect for a beginner just getting into skating and they did not disappoint. Just do your homework. Don’t rely on the description for sizing. Look up the euro=us sizing and be sure you’re ordering correctly. ... show more

I am going to start learning so I’m no expert!! But I love these so far. Two thing to note: 1. These are true to size. I’ve seen previous old comments about how the size is incorrect but I followed their recommended size in the chart and it fits perfectly 2. I’ve been looking up videos on YouTube on how to spot a good roller skaters, one famous YouTuber mentions that if the wheels don’t roll all the way then these are deemed to be bad. But another one just mentions that you can loosen them up with the appropriate tool, this tool is ALREADY included and I loosened them up and they roll all the way perfectly!! ... show more

After finally getting the correct size, granddaughter loves her skates! Tip for those that have a wheel that won’t light up, take the supplied wrench and tighten the nut that holds the wheel on ever so slightly. It is probably not making good enough contact to light up. Bag,.... hmmmm, zipper was garbage straight outa the box. Maybe I’ll take it to a repair shop and have a new zipper pull put on. ... show more

These are comfortable and work well for a beginner! Outdoors seemed fine. I usually wear a US 8.5 and accidentally got a 41 and could have done with a bit smaller pair but they work perfectly fine laced up tight.

These are great and they look nice, but they come with very thin pads on the inside which don't adequately protect the feet from the huge rivets holding the skates together. I'm going to try adding some extra padding to see if that helps, but within minutes of wearing them with the pads they come with, you can feel the rivets and they hurt. ... show more

Not bad for a first pair of skates. Be sure to adjust not only the wheels but also the trucks. Easy upgrades: add thicker insoles, swap out the wheels and bearings (the ones that come with it aren’t bad for outdoor basketball courts, but they are rather hard and slippery wheels for indoor skating and too hard for coarse pavement), and replace the truck cushions with softer ones. The carrying bag broke but I was able to sew it back together. I’m hoping with these upgrades I’ll make it through fresh meat for roller derby and Riedell or Bont will have my size back in stock. ... show more
