Unfortunately this think sinks like a rock. I'd prefer a Jerkbait that floats slightly vs sinking. I purchased it for a suspending Jerkbait which this was touted as but does not function as. It looks nice. The colors are common names we recognize. The hardware seems decent but I haven't caught a fish with it. I probably won't ever use it again. I'd you're looking for a cheap Jerkbait that sinks, this could be your ticket. But don't bother if you need something to suspend. This one isn't even close. ... show more

This is a good lure, but there was a blemish in its color / finish. The price point is similar to the big name brands at the big box sporting goods stores, and I've never had any issue with the color/finish of those lures. Performance-wise the fish didn't seem to be bother my the blemish, and the lure swam true without the need for tuning the swim action. They would come out from behind the stumps to take a pass at this thing and then I got it stuck in one of those stumps a bit too far down to get it.
