The media could not be loaded. This shelf unit is not just beautiful but it also excels in functionality! I was impressed with the care of packaging and that It came prepared with extra screws in case you would experience the inevitable “I just lost one to the thick carpet of eternal separation”. It took about 30 minutes to assemble and the instructions were understandable and clear, despite being a visual representation instead of written. Once put together, I found the unit to be quite sturdy and very elegant! I used this in my closet for my shoes but it is definitely pretty enough to use anywhere in the house. The only thing I wish was different is the color of the screws that are provided on the front of the unit. I would have preferred that they were the same gold as the metal part of the shelf but they came in silver. It’s just an esthetic thing for me personally and I can fix it with a simple swipe of a gold colored paint pen. I’m looking forward to enjoying this piece for years to come! ... show more

I purchased two of these shelving units for my living room and I must say that I am quite impressed! When these first arrived, I was concerned that the rounded arch at the top would look too fussy and cluttered, but they look very nice in my living room. On top of that these shelves are very sturdy! I have a cat who insists on climbing on every piece of furniture, and these shelves have not budged even during peak zoomies hours. In terms of size, they’re as described and perfect for my living room. The doors at the bottom were a little misaligned when I first put it together, but the instructions tell you how to even them out. Only con is putting this together. Generally, it’s not any more difficult than most pieces of furniture, but the top arches did not want to slide onto the vertical beams! I had to heat the metal with a warm towel to get it to expand enough to lock both pieces in place. Other than the little extra elbow greases needed to put these shelves together, this is a great value! ... show more

This bookshelf is so cute! Exactly what I was looking for, I love the arched top to break up all the rectangular furniture! Super easy to put together, took me about an hour or so. The numbered stickers on the pieces are a bit of a pain, so make sure you have some Goo Gone!

It was easy to put together , the doors were uneven at first but I adjusted the screws inside so now it lines up to each other. The only thing I dislike is that the screws show on the outside of the gold and it’s very noticeable especially since the screws are silver (minus one star) Other than that’s it’s a good shelf for the price. ... show more

I was considering a lot of other shelving storage options like the ikea Billy bookcase but i am so happy I got this I don't like the idea of having to sand paint and prime something to style it how I want so this was a great. The arch on top gives it more personality and I like the gold finish.

Beautiful shelf but missing some of the pieces I need to put it together so now I just have a half built shelf. Waste of money unless pieces are sent. Amazon requested seller send missing pieces twice and seller is unresponsive.
