  • nice
I really like this cart. It arrived on time with no damage. Assembly directions were good. Good thick steel with automotive grade hardware. The wheels were very heavy duty and large. I put it together by myself in 3 hours. The only two issues I had during assembly was that the cart is very heavy and you have to use your ingenuity. The second issue was that I'm 80 years old and am slow getting on my knees. I will use this cart to supplement my Craftsman tool box which I've had for 60 years. ... show more

  • Item was sold to me but was returned by a previous buyer.
I have attempted to contact JEGS was on hold two times for over 30 minutes each, I'm not going to recommend the company. My toolcart was received not only damaged, but was a return by a previous buyer; or so it seams since the cart was torqued so bad that the drawers fell out, and all of the nuts and bolts were opened from their original plastic bags and were just rolling around the box. I do not believe this damage was caused by shipping. If JEGS reads this, please contact me via the Amazon portal. Your return label claims I have to PAY for return shipping even though the cart was received damaged and was potentially a return from a previous buyer ... show more

  • Definitely worth the purchase
I was looking for a roll around tool cabinet that had specific features to use in my shop. The overall size and height (38") is just right for me, not too big and not too small with adequate storage for my usage. I am constantly moving my machinist tools between my lathe and milling machine and this product turns out to be the ideal fit There are many more pros than cons with this product. The instructions should be throughly read before attempting assembly which took me about 45 minutes. I suggest assembly on a workbench if possible up to the step before the drawer cabinet assembly is installed. The larger casters allow the cabinet to move easily in all directions and the wheel locks are effective. The drawers slide in and out smoothly with good grab handles and come with liners. Accidental drawer openings while moving the cabinet is prevented when the drawer is fully closed. The top lid is sturdy and uses a continuous back hinge. As for cons an annoying scraping sound occurred whenever the lid was raised and was silenced with a couple of drops of light oil on each drawer locking rod. When the lid is closed the rear drawer locking mechanism is engaged preventing drawer openings. I removed both of the lid drawer locking mechanisms since I am the only one in my shop and wanted the convenience of opening any drawer w/o having to raise the lid each time or having to leave the drawers slightly open. A couple of small covers can be made to close off the openings created by the removed mechanisms. Another con is a finger pinch point exists between the front lip edge of the lid and the front and sides of the cabinet, these cons are minor however. I plan to install a sheet of a laminated wood product on the lid as a personal preference and also just large enough to act as a lid handle. The cabinet looks great with a good black powder coating and chrome like grab handles. This cabinet gets my vote and I would recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • Overall a good value for a solidly constructed item
This cart arrived with some minor damage (a ding in the lid and a sheared rivet securing the piano hinge), but the hinge works fine and I had stickers lying around, so the ding is less noticeable now. The cart, once assembled, seems very solid. I have a number of blow molded cases I needed a place to store together, and this cart's lower tray fit the bill. The description doesn't state this, but there's about 16 inches of clearance between the bottom of the bottom drawer and the top of that lip on the bottom tray. Enough room for my cases to be slid into the side of the cart, if need be. Before the screeching robs you of ALL of your hearing, you're going to want to lubricate those locking pins underneath the rear of the lid. They are depressed by the closing lid to lock the drawers beneath. This cart seems like a good option if you have many tool cases, and maybe various containers of cleaners and lubricants that would be inconvenient to lay down. I had previously considered a similar tool chest with a lower cabinet, but I couldn't find one wide enough, and I couldn't conceive of a way to remove the first case I'd put in there without removing every other case first. This cart, and storing each case standing up, solves that. Oh, and the shelf liner included here is a nice touch. ... show more

  • Fantastic cart! Great quality/well built - yet very inexpensive
Great quality/well built - yet very inexpensive. Assembly a bit tedious but easy. Socket and a small adjustable wrench is all you need. Directions are extremely minimal, but pretty self explanatory.

  • FIND ANOTHER BRAND TOOLBOX
Well ive had this toolbox for 6 months, and its tipped over twice already. I read the weight for each cabinet and i have veeerry little tools so i know i didnt pass the weight. But somehow if any of my 2 bottom cabinets are open it WILL fall. Now since the , i have a broken lock and the cabinets up top dont lock. Before it even fell i had rotora at the bottom to give weight and it made no difference. ... show more

  • Nice tool cart.
Quite easy to assemble. Good value for the money. The corner of the cover is slightly bent but the damage was from the delivery guy dragging the hefty box across the lawn.
