these look OK. i’m not super concerned about the skates being bumped up because i fully expect my 6 year old will destroy these. the bag that it comes with, though, is complete trash. ordered these skates brand new so there’s no reason for the inside of the bag to be so busted up and broken. really poor quality control with that. and if the price is higher because that’s ‘included’, then i want a $10 refund... because it’s junk! ... show more

    • Easy to Adjust, but Not the Most Beginner-Friendly

These are cool skates which really do change size with ease, fit the anticipated range of sizes, light up wonderfully, and stay securely attached to the feet. What I didn't love about them were how loose the wheels were (making it hard for new skaters to get their footing), and the plastic brakes (which are easily eaten away by concrete). The cost is also pretty high (considering how many deals can be found on roller skates at the time of my writing this). If you're convinced these are the way to go, then I'd advise getting your child used to moving in them on carpet well ahead of putting them on a sidewalk (etc.). Once their confidence is up, they may have an easy time skating normally in them. My son is still struggling, not yet ready to do the speed-skating these seem built for. They're nice skates, and I'd recommend them to anyone willing to work their child's skill level onto those truly skate-able surfaces. ... show more

Oh how my grandbabies fight over these when they're here. -Which is pretty much daily lol. I couldn't believe how well they're made. I'm pretty confident that these will outlast the grandkids abilities to wear them. The bearings and wheels are great. -Although sometimes all the lights don't wanna light up,overall it isn't a big deal because there are always SOME that light up. They latch shut, which is a little difficult for the 4 yr old to open on his own, but the 5 and 6 year olds don't have a problem at all with it. Just the fact that my 4-6yr old grandkids all CAN wear the same skate makes this worth every penny of the price right there lol. I LOVE how they adjust for size! Not only do you get the skates but you also get a bag to carry/store them in, extra wheels, and a wrench! I highly recommend these wanna thank the company for making such a great product! -If only they'd get the lighting up of the wheels on par these would be absolutely perfect. But like I'd said, they are fine the way they are even. I definitely recommend these! ... show more
