I owned a pair of JBU shoes in a very similar style and loved them. They go with pants, skirts, jeans and are an all-purpose shoe that's comfortable for walking. I thought this pair, a very similar design to the first shoes, would fit the same way, but I should have taken more time when trying them on and realized that they are wider than my first pair. I put in some shoe inserts, but they show a bit along the openings under the arch. I will wear them this way , but I'd prefer not to and caution buyers to check fit carefully. I could almost require a wide rather than normal width shoe, so those with narrow feet would might these ill-fitting. I do love the design, color and comfort. ... show more

Love these shoes and ordered 1/2 size down which work in fit. But the strap that attaches to the velcro is too loose to to stretchy part on the other side of shoe and velcro space is not large enough to tighten. I will not return but I will go to the shoe store and ask if they can remove the stretchy part for a better fit. Shoes ... show more
