I ordered my normal size, and they are a little tight. Just a little. I'm sure once they get broken in, they will stretch and be perfect. I wore them to work (with a back up pair of shoes, just in case), and by the fourth day I had to take them off, because for some reason the back of the left shoe made the back of my foot sore, and creating a very small cut. I will of course keep trying to break them in, because other than the things above, they are comfortable, and I like them a lot. These Mary Jane Flats are comfortable and stylish. The soles are soft and sturdy. Look great with casual dresses, skirts, shorts and slacks. Received lots of compliments. Purchased the denim color. Like to buy them in other colors. But were not available in my size. I usually order a size 9. But it was recommended to order a 1/2 size larger, as they run small. So ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. There is some support, as well. I may put in a sole support inset to give them a bit more support. ... show more

The sole, and shoe itself are a comfortable fit, my only complaint is the strap. It’s adjustable but it sits high at the bend of the foot to ankle and cuts into me when strapped to fit securely. If I loosen it, it feels better but my foot slides. I recommend trying to wear socks to break them in. I did that for a week of off and on use and it’s a little better at the strap now. Very cute and comfortable pair of shoes aside from the very thick, very sturdy ankle strap. If you have larger ankles or suffer from swelling, I would pass on these and look for slip ons instead. ... show more

I really like these shoes and they fit, except they are a bit wide on my feet. Also the strap is fabric & ribbon-like. I abhor velcro with a passion! I am not hard on shoes, otherwise I think that these shoes wouldn’t last for very long. Diane

These are one of the best shoes I have bought. They are stylish and very comfortable. I have a narrow heel and the buckle is perfect..I usually don't like velcro but the straps are slim and easy to put on...I have a wide toe area so usually shoes are tight and I have to break them in....not with these! ..cute and a pretty grey....i.may buy another pair in a different color if they go on sale.... ... show more

I wear these when my sneakers are too hot and I don't want my toes to show. Perfect shoes for summer with shorts or skirts. Sole keeps me from slipping but will still move for dancing. I just worry about the long Velcro strap closure. Overtime that could curl or get dirty. Other than the Velcro, I love these shoes! ... show more
