This bag is such good quality, I had it for two school years now and I am still using it. The color is amazing it hasn't faded in that time. In this one, there is no laptop sleeve and I do not mind that extra level of laptop protection but keep that in mind. I love the front pocket it helps me be organized. It's so easy to clean as well. Good quality, perfect size not too big it’s an average size backpack. It doesn’t have a laptop pocket. Color is accurate it’s bright red. Not really water resistant. It’s comfortable just keep in mind the straps are a little thin so you don’t want to really put to much stuff or at least heavy stuff in it so it doesn’t hurt your shoulders. My mother swears by these backpacks. She STILL has hers from high school in near perfect condition. She used hers from high school rhrough college, and still uses it to pack for trips. She got me a Jansport for preschool. If lasted through college and, like my mother, I use it to this day for traveling. My son just entered preschool this year. I got him a little cheap backpack. It ripped after three months of use. So I had him pick out his own Jansport. He chose the Juniper. Yes, it’s huge on him, but I know this backpack will be something he’ll keep forever.
