Description

Great for tie-dye and fabric dying. Each 2/3-oz. bottles dyes approximately 8 to 10 adult shirts. Mix 2 level tsp of dye to 8 ounces of water. Assorted color set includes yellow, brilliant orange, fire engine red, fuchsia, turquoise, medium blue and bright green. Adult supervision required. Presoaking the garment in soda ash (sold separately) helps with color retention.

I love how bright and beautiful these colors are. If u use it the right way by letting the fabric sit for 24-48 hrs in a closes container or bin with a rack, can also put in a plastic bag but using that there's a chance of the die getting on the bag then smears onto ur other colors. But as long as u store ur fabric in something to keep it from drying out and keep it somewhere warm like in the sun or by a heat source your colors will be Bright ... show more

The colors came out vibrant. The first batch I used the 2 tbl spoons per 8oz squeeze bottle of water. These shirts came out premium. The second and third batches I used a slightly heaping scoop with 8oz of water in squeeze bottle and these shirts came out like a normal diy kit. I also let the white shirts sock in ash wash before ringing them out and letting my team color them. I also kept the shirts in bags for a few days before rinsing them out in a bath of room temp/ cool water. It took me a while but I washed 50 tie dye shirt for my work team. 💪🏻 ... show more

The colors are simple to use; just add a teaspoon to a squeeze bottle of water, shake and you're good to go. The colors are vibrant and do not fade.

All of the colors the kids used were so vibrant (I also used a soda ash wash prior) even after washing. We did ice dye with it but we may do traditional dying with it because these came out so much brighter and more vibrant than the ones we did with a different brand.

These are great dyes, but I think a couple of them are old. The color isn't as vibrant as the same dyes I've used in the past. Still nice though. Worth a try.

This is the dye you need for vibrant tie dye colors. Some of the reviews I've read thought eight small, half full bottles for close to $40 was not a good value. I disagree. I've used six teaspoons each out of my three primary colors and still have some left. I haven't even touched secondary colors or the other shade of red. I've done three separate projects including the full length kaftan pictured and a huge terrycloth spa robe I gave as a gift and I haven't even used 1/2 of the dye. It mixed easily and set into the fabric well. Both the pictured items have been worn and washed several times. My only complaint is the "jet black" color that didn't live up to its name. It came out as charcoal grey. Not bad, but not the dark black I was hoping for. This is a much better value than the kits that are sold here on Amazon. I will order these again. ... show more
