  • An instant classic!
Jack Jeanne has got to be one of the most charming otome games I have ever played! The story is so genuinely cute while though having some clichés, don't hinder the premise and breaks boundaries with the storytelling. Every male character is charming with a lot deep layers as their stories are told through the main game. An example: I honestly didn't expect to like the first male character, that being Suzu, as he is the bright and bubbly guy that usually isn't all that fleshed out. But he and the other guys warm up to you by how passionate they are about their roles on the stage! Now, the rhythmic mini game is very enjoyable! I wish more otome games had mini games in them. 😂 So far I haven't finished the game yet, as the game doesn't have you choose a route but you spend most of your time with your favorite guy through the main story and earning his specific training points while getting ready for the plays. Next, the art is amazing! So vibrant and pretty. And finally, this is a small gripe from me but so far, THERE ARE NO SPELLING ERRORS! 😊 I know it's not a big deal as they're always minor errors in otome games, or any piece of literature, but it's nice to see that it's getting better, as otome games have reading as the main theme of each game. It's not too bad but it gets noticeable when you are constantly reading lol. Overall, Jack Jeanne is a wonderful game! Would reccomend. ❤️ ... show more

  • My Favorite Game
Despite what lots of people say about it being to repetitive or whatnot, from my experience I think this is actually my favorite game of all time (NOT BIASED). It has so many aspects to it, plus romance like any other otome. I think my favorite part about this game is the fact that almost every character is super likeable, and you get attached to them very easily! Each love interest has their own unique story, and depending on who's route you're going for, the way you see the story, plays, certain characters, and even some of the dialogue will completely change! The fact that romance is not the main factor of the story is my favorite part. I happen to be the type of person who is a sucker for a good romance, but when I played this game, the main story and watching the performances, listening to the songs, and seeing their dances and acting together as a class was such a great experience. The things I'd do to erase my memory to replay it again... And not only is the game itself and each character very well written, the art is BEAUTIFUL. I happen to be a lover of anything Ishida Sui creates, and this game was no exception. Each CG is so beautifully done and gives so much emotion to each scene, plus there's so many! I'll definitely say though, "some characters" route's are a but more angsty than others, so don't make the same mistake I did and play Neji's first, LOL. He is 100% my favorite, but I can confidently say that I adore each love interest and they all hold a special place in my heart. The main character Kisa is also probably one of my favorite otome MCs ever, shes very androgynous, and I think the way she is just so confident and willing to work toward her dream is really nice. PLUS SHE HAS A VOICE SO THATS A PLUS!!! I really hope you play this game and enjoy it as much as I did, it deserves so much love C: ... show more

  • Very fun otome!
I really like this otome! The characters are very unique looking and I get a fun vibe playing this. The rhythm elements go so well with the stage play theme. I recommend this if you like theatre and want an otome based around that :)

  • My Favorite Game Ever 10000000/10
Honestly, I cannot rave enough about this game! I haven't even played through all of the endings, but I love it and don't think I could ever tire of it! Amazing story, charming characters, beautiful art! This is by far my favorite otome game I've ever played! I highly, highly, recommend it :)

  • It's great for comedy if you like that, it's also got some room for tears.
I love it. I'm not done playing yet so I'm not sure how far the context of this story goes or if it delves deeper as you get to each route.... but I can say that you'll need patience and an open mind. Think about this game practically, it's a game so why think that way... well here's the why, you see when you actually prepare to play a role in theater you always have to practice. And you repeat a lot of the content during the cast practice, and same happens in the game. You'll hear a lot of the same stuff, but it's legit. If you think about this legitimately, it's not wrong. But it can get boring if you're one of those who doesn't find joy in time-consuming little pieces like that. However, the excitement happens when you start focusing in on a certain stat of your choosing and making a point to focus on scenes with one character. That's where you get the rest of the content. I recommend saving after each special event, or rehearsal. Just skip most of it if you'd like, during the practice. But it helps you make a decision for character growth of other characters if you invest yourself into it. ... show more

  • THE ART STYLE?????? THE ART
I am quite new in the Otome world, but I have played around 15 games before playing this one. So I will be short (because maybe you are like me and don't read long review :) 1. The story itself. I love me some "I can pretend to be a boy" trope. 2. Variety of love choices and all of them are absolutely different. 3. You can actually play some "mini games"???? Finally! I love Otome, but sometimes you get tired of spamming A. Also, depends how well you do on your performance, story line can change ;) 4. DID I MENTION THE ART STYLE???? Because, excuse me, SUI ISHIDA?????? Tokyo Ghoul is my first manga, sooooooooo I bought it as soon as I found out about this game. 5. Game gave me chills, all the plays they did? *chiefs kiss* WARNING: the game is not flowers and rainbows only. For me, as long as no one dies (even in worst scenario) I am happy. Some love interests have dark past, but it's okay. We still love them <3 ... show more
