  • Does the job
Size: 4K@30HZ 100ft Zero Latency
I upgraded my home theatre and the original hdmi cable couldn't support the newer standards. The cable was wedged in the ceiling such that my electrician couldn't get it out so I went looking for a solution. I couldn't get a picture at all from these devices initially and spent a couple of days trying everything and in desperation switched the power source to the rx & tx from usb power to mains power and it fired up straight away. J-Tech - please put this as a troubleshooting suggestion on your support site. The picture is good but sometimes the devices don't sync when I first turn the projector on, so I have to power both devices off and on to get it working which is frustrating. So overall, not as good as a cable connection but I'm glad a found a solution in the end. ... show more

  • It Just Works
I built a house in 2009, and it wired, it was supposed to be state of art.. and I've had sporadic 'Handshake' issues with my TV/Audio for almost 6 years, I will never pre-wire a house again. About 3 years ago I switched to wireless HDMI, and gave up on the cabling.. but needed the wireless so I could still make use of the speakers I have in the ceiling, which require an AV Box in a being in a closet at the opposite side of the house.. I did this utilizing the regular type set-up available from places like Best Buy for $150/$200, and I've lived with the fact that every time I turn the system on, I have to re-set the boxes as a minimum, and then due to sporadic loss of picture, and sometimes sound, I would need to Power every thing down, and then turn each component on in the right order, as a maximum; DirectTV, AV Box, Wireless Transmitter, Wireless receiver, and then the TV.. Over the 6 years I've bought new HDMI Cables, and New AV Box.. but nothing fixed my issues completely.. About a month ago I cancelled DirectTV, because I was tired of paying over $100 per month and switched to cable.. and my Handshake problems increased.. anything I tried would fix the issue for a few hours, and then boom.. Green Screen, I've spent 1,000's of $$ and I can't just turn the TV on in my house and watch it.. absolutely infuriating.. Enter J-Tech Digital.. I did some research and decided to try this superior product as a last ditch effort before just giving in and writing off the fact that my house is wired.. and sticking the TV and Boxes altoegther in a corner, and buying new speakers.. I was skeptical.. but you know what it just works.. I wasn't expecting that.. you turn the TV on, and there's a picture, you switch from Apple TV to cable, and there's a picture, and I have surround sound, and it just works.. I cannot praise this product enough, granted I'm not transmitting 650 ft but I am going through multiple walls, and it's perfect!! Thank you J-Tech Digital!! ... show more

  • OK, but not Great
I have so many problem with the first model ( we end up buying a new TV because they told us that is my HDMI input in my LED bad,not true). Here is one of many email conversation: "That is the first thing I did was to scan for any 5 GHz network in the area. If you look at your amazon product description it gives you information on how to troubleshoot your video signal and quality, and to scan your network to see if anyone (devices, routers, etc) uses the 5 GHz network channels 149 and 153. I used 3 types of apps "Wifi Analyzer", and I did not have any devices or routers that operates on the channels 149 and 153. I only have routers that uses 2.4 GHz on channels 1, 4, and 11. Plus the routers are 200 to 450 feet away from the receiver or the transmitter. I only use one TV 55” LCD (VIZIO Model D55N-E2), the second TV was my portable HD LCD for testing equipment, that is the only time I used my portable HD LCD is to test that the video feed is coming in thru my 6 feet gold plated HDMI cable, (NO SLITTER INVOLVE). The first time I had a cheap HDMI cable $10 now the new gold plated HDMI cable is $89, I still have the same problem." 10 days of communication, the owner to to business I install hate it at first. I ok for now, we should see how long will it work. PLUS I'm using it only around 120 feet for 600 feet device (they claim that), I had to move the TV in order to work (20 more feet) because I was over 140 feet and will not work. ... show more

  • Works Great
Works great. I went for the high power, longer range (more expensive unit) to avoid any connection issues; it seems to have worked. I have a small TV in my study and wanted this to stream the signal from the cable box in my living room. (I am never using the living room TV when I am in my study, and vice-versa.) There is a hallway between the two rooms and I did not want to figure out how to string HDMI cables across that hallway or through the attic. For me, this was plug-and-play and has worked consistently and without issue since first installed a month ago. I paired this with an HDMI splitter ( SOWTECH ST-HDSP0001 1X2 HDMI Splitter for Full HD 1080P Support 3D (One Input To Two Outputs) ) at the cable box -- one feed to the living room TV, the other to this extender. In the study, a standard HDMI cable connects this to a small TV in the corner. I plugged the bits and pieces in, and it just worked. Picture quality and sound are perfectly in sync and excellent in my second room. There have been no/zero issues with any sort of disconnecting, gaps, or signal quality in any way. As the listing notes, there is a small lag between the signal received at the second location and what is shown at the original location; for that reason, you cannot really use this to extend "real-time" viewing. But if you just want to shift the signal to a different location or another piece of equipment without wires, this works great. ... show more
