  • Best sunglasses for the price ever!
Color: Silver Frame/Black Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Medium 58mm
I usually buy sunglasses that cost $325 to $400 but after three pairs getting damaged from typical use over the years I decided to go less expensive. These glasses look amazing and the quality of the lens and material are amazing for the price. The lens are not Maui Jim, those are my favorite glasses, but for the price difference it’s hard to justify at the moment. After the first pair came in I got two more so I always have one where I need them or if I want to wear a different color. I hope they hold up for a while, we will have to see but they don’t feel that much different than glasses that cost 10 to 20 times more. And they come with a case and cleaning cloth! It’s a no brainer for me. ... show more

  • craftsmanship and understated simplicity
Color: Black Frame/Black Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Large 62mm
No, I am not military, but I appreciate quality and function. These are the best designed and most comfortable sunglasses I have ever owned. That is coming from a blind man who wears sunglasses as part of his every day life. I cannot tell you they make the world look sharp, but they make me look sharp. They give me that professional image I need when walking into a board room wearing slanky cool shades is simply not the first impression I want to make. I've owned more expensive, but not every designer label is backed by this level of quality. If I had a dollar for every pair of sunglasses I have broken, I would have a fat stack. This pair has already survived my walking into a half-open door. The spring hinges held up perfectly, as if they thought of me when they designed them to flex when I smash my head into things. The frame had taken on an odd angle for a minute, but they are real metal. That means I just gently work them back into alignment. In fact, the first thing I did when unpacking them was to fit them to my skull by gently bending the ear hooks. You just cannot do that with plastic shades. I say they are comfortable because you can make them fit your head like that. I'm not a big man. Being only 5-foot 8-inches, my small stature should have pointed me to purchasing the smaller pair of glasses, but the wider glasses give me better coverage. They maybe aren't goofy big, but the smaller pair would likely put the temple bars closer to my face. When I do finally kill this pair from misuse, I will go back for the smaller option. I figure if you can say you are a big person, go for the big pair, otherwise, take the more narrow frame. The temple bars are really the core of any glasses frame, and this pair feels like someone put a lot of thought into it. Rather than straight sticks you find on many expensive glasses, these are ever so slightly arched, curve into a thicker sturdy hinge connection, and have no tiny screw to drop out at the worst moment. It feels like a sealed hinge, so there is no replacing the temples. As if you were ever going to bother, right? Nobody ever repairs sunglasses. I've never seen a carry case like this, but I really have grown attached to it. It has a snap hook so it can be hung from whatever you have. Its a sort of firm pack, being not hard and not quite soft. It would not withstand a good stomp, but it prevents the glasses from being crushed when packed in a bag. It easily fits the glasses and the buffing cloth. Overall, these sunglasses are clearly manufactured with attention to detail. The materials are obviously top quality. Every edge is finely finished, and no part of them feels less than perfectly tooled. I am checking them all over for any sign of lack of craftsmanship and its simply not there. The case is lined with some velvety material, and every seam is perfectly sealed. Even the zipper on the case closes smoothly. I have to say the case is overly large. It could easily contain 2 pairs, but that would not be proper safe storage. With the case hanging on me, the glasses rattle around a bit and the zipper pull jingles. Wearing this case clipped to my hip is sort of loud. The plastic clip is sturdy, but does have 1 tiny sharp-ish point where it was probably broken off its molding grid in manufacturing. Its just a tiny pokey edge, but I am trying to find fault. ... show more

  • Good optics
Color: Black Frame/Gray Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Medium 58mm
I have a couple pairs of Maui Jim’s to compare these with. I have both a pair with the black and a pair with the gray lenses. To me, the black lenses are just too dark. The gray, on the other hand, are perfect. Optics are better on the gray lenses, not quite to MJ level, but honestly not all that far off. Construction seems solid, but I don’t know what they would put up with a ton of abuse. Love that they offer a medium size. Aviators generally look comically large on my face, but the medium size looks great, although coverage is not full around the sides. ... show more

  • Great for the price
Color: [Square] Black Frame/Black Lens Lens Color: Square Aviator - Medium 55mm
The advertising was not wrong. I got the modified shape in medium and they fit perfect for a slightly larger than average head. They are very light weight. I don't think you can beat these for the price! A case also came with the sunglasses which was just another positive. They were wrapped well and seemed like a pair worth 5 times the cost. Thanks! ... show more

  • Constant repurchase
Color: Black Frame/Black Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Medium 58mm
By far the best sunglasses for the price. Not expensive incase they get damaged or lost, but stylish and durable.

  • Good overall, but arms are too short
Color: [Square] Black Frame/Gray Lens Lens Color: Square Aviator - Medium 55mm
These sunglasses are good for the price, but if you're looking for perfect... These aren't it. Cons: arms are too short. It's almost like wearing kids sunglasses. Lenses are ok. Quality is ok. Pro: frame design is nice

  • Very Nice
Color: Gold Frame/Brown Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Large 62mm
These glasses are very nice. Sturdy, sturdy, and fit well. Just a bit on the dark side. I'll buy again if I ever loose them. Seriously doubt I'll wear them out.

  • Good looks at a good price!
Color: Silver Frame/Blue Mirror Lens Lens Color: Classic Aviator - Large 62mm
I used to be a sunglasses snob, no shame in admitting it. Oakleys and Costas...you name it, I had it. I work in a prison, so bad things happen all the time, which involve lots of running and "hands on" activities. I can't tell you how many expensive pairs of shades have been knocked off my head and stepped on or lenses broken. Hundreds of dollars thrown away for the 10+ years I've been doing this. Someone told me a long time ago to just buy cheap shades and I laughed at them. Well, I finally got tired of spending tons of money so I took a chance on these. I need polarized lenses...working in Florida with this sun, you HAVE to. So I wanted some polarized glasses that looked good. The reviews on these were good and I really liked the way they look, so I bought two different colored sets. Let me tell you...I couldn't be happier. The quality is decent, but if you really look at them, you can tell they are cheap. The welds aren't even but unless you are 6 inches away, you can't tell. The polarized works wonderfully! They are lightweight and are comfortable to wear all day. The best part is they look really good. I've had several compliments and questions as to how much I paid for those "designer" glasses. Not only that, I've broken a few pairs too. I drop them and a lens pops out, I just pop it right back in. They get scratched or bent, no biggy...they were 15 bucks. Two pairs of these lasts me 3-6 months, if I don't sit or step on them on accident. I am honestly going to drop about 200 dollars and get a pair of each lens color...just to be fashionable. No kidding, I really do get a lot of comments about how good these look and people assuming they cost me a fortune. ... show more
