  • All. Couples. Should. Play. This. (and friends too)
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
TLDR: Amazing game. Great Graphics. Perfect for couples. Totally worth the price. Most people say that the true test of a relationship is to put together furniture, remodel a home, or go on an 8-hour road trip. Those are all tests of a relationship, but this game should be included. If you have a strong relationship, you'll do fine, but this game will put your teamwork skills to the test. Just try to get through some of these puzzles without frustration and small arguments. This game will test any relationship not just with your significant otter.🐾 You HAVE to be able to work together to progress. I love that someone has come out with a game that challenges you in such a way. I'm not trying to brag, however; my husband and I are one of those annoying couples who rarely argue and have maybe had a grand total of 4 large serious arguments in our 10 years together, this game was challenging even for us. While no serious yelling happened, it had definitely made us work on our communication skills and teamwork. I am only so-so at gaming while gaming is his passion. It makes him take a step back and work on his patience with me. Not one person has the more difficult task. They are evenly distributed between you both as you travers the world around you. This game has an amazing story line and stunning graphics. Totally worth the price and the great thing is with the switch; you only need to buy one game. You can play couch co-op on the same screen, or you can download the companion game on a second switch and the other person can play on their handheld screen. We found that this was the better option as you weren't having to do some of the challenges split screen, but he could still see what I was doing and help guide me with what I needed to complete for us to move forward. I was able to focus on just what I was doing without distraction of his screen. ... show more

  • It’s marriage therapy in a game. But FUN!
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
I bought this as a joint gift for me and my husband for Christmas - I only knew it was a two player cooperative game and that the characters were married. I’ve been playing Nintendo since I was 6, I’m almost 40 now and I enjoyed this game. We binge played this game for a week to completion. I feel like the storyline is meant to be a lesson in relationships, though at times the characters actions had me and my husband shaking our heads at how dumb they were being. The gameplay felt like a mix of Mario kart, prince of Persia & Zelda, as well as the brunt of gameplay resembling puzzles like in Zelda, but all with a partner to shake it up. It was as I implied earlier addictive to play and the scenery was so fun to look at! There was a lot, but I think my favorite area had to be the “pillow fort” and moon baboon. But then again- there is a LOT to look at in this game. It’s hard to choose. The entire premise is about cooperation, and it certainly tested our relationship more than a few times, as I am the expert in game acrobatics and my hubby is a bit of a bumbler in that area so there is lots of patience involved. There are also aspects of the game where there are things you can do just for the heck of it. They serve no other purpose than to randomly have fun. Like a swing that you can swing each other on or a sled that you can push each other on. And then, I have to say the most intense part of this game had to be the absolutely useless, but very rewarding “ tower of hell” that had you climbing up various moving platforms to get to the top. I won’t ruin it for you as far as what happens at the top, but even though it’s useless to the main story, it’s actually really rewarding just for the heck of it. It took me a few hours of frustration to get up and my husband had to take a break for the day and come back to it the next day, but he also got it done eventually. We were very proud of ourselves lol. But yeah, this game is a solid 5 stars. It was definitely long enough of a game and even when we were done I was almost ready to turn right around and start at the beginning again because the puzzles and the “rides” were very enjoyable. I WILL be playing it again and again. Now if you’ll excuse me I have to get back to Skyrim. If you know, you know. But seriously, take a break from being the Dragonborn for a week and play this game. You’re welcome. ... show more

  • Fun co-op game, graphics leave something to be desired
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
I want to give it a 3.5. Overall it's a really fun game. In the beginning, me and my gf thought the game was too easy, but it does progress to a level that's more challenging, yet still feels fun. Controls are decent; story is meh but i'm sure others will enjoy it more; graphics are sub-par for a Switch game in my humble opinion - lots of jagged edges and it just feels lower res than it should be. Also annoying that you can't turn off the auto aim assist for those who want a bit more of a challenge. That said, the real highlight is just the pure variety of the challenges that you encounter as you progress - it's really cool how many different things they have you do with each character, so there is that replayability if you wanna play the other character after finishing it the first time. ... show more

  • Great game!
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
I was gladly surprised by this game. I only bought it because it was for two players. The game has a nice level of difficulty. It is not for kids, although a kid guided by an adult could also enjoy it. The story flows quite naturally, but some of the topics/movies may not be suitable for very young children. The use of the camera and the controls was superb. Hands down, this is one of the best games out there right now. I am looking forward to new games from Hazelight Studios. ... show more

  • Fun coop game
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
One of the funnest coop games me and my son have played. Requires teamwork but not so challenging he gets frustrated.

  • Great game. A real 2 players game
Platform: Nintendo Switch Edition: Standard
We spent about 10 hours playing to this game with the kids. That's a real 2 players game as you cannot progress by your own. I don't even think you can play alone.
