Im a body builder and this makes my mornings so much easier. No chalky tast and blends well. Great value for the money as well. As for the taste it tastes faintly like milk which is great for smoothies or adding into coffee. No mess, simple scoop. Great quality protein! Will buy again :)

I was used to using another brand for years but never liked the amount of sunflower seed oil and other unnecessary ingredients. This product is the cleanest I could find for the money, which is a good price. I was hoping this would be the unicorn: a protein supplement that is 1) unflavored 2) unsweetened 3) inexpensive. I want something to use this in place of the plant based protein powder I have been using that was unsweetened but rather expensive and not super tasty. Based on reviews I thought I'd try thins but I have to say I'm really on the fence. It's o.k. stirred into Greek yogurt but I don't love the flavor and find I need to add a lot to fruit to mask it. Not the worst thing but not ideal. I tried putting some in oatmeal like I do with my other protein powder and it curdled, so I guess you can't use this in anything hot. Breakfast ruined but lesson learned. I'll make it through this bag but I can't imagine buying it again so the search for a palatable protein supplement continues.... EDIT: Changing my mind about this stuff. I tried this in a smoothie and it's actually really good - not gritty at all which is rare for protein powder. So as long as I use it in cold things it's a good go to! I'm going to try overnight oats to see if it will work that way. ... show more

as somebody that’s trying to be health, conscientious. I thought that this would solve all my problems, getting rid of all the fillers and unnecessary things in protein powder today. However, was I horribly wrong!!!!!I will take the fillers, I will take the sucralose, I will take the chocolate protein powder and the natural flavors (wink , wink). This unflavored powder is one of the worst things I’ve ever eaten! I tried to cover up the taste, by adding a packet of Stevia, adding crystal light, and then covering it up with something with a strong profile on its own(Greek yogurt.)I was desperate and willing to pretty much try anything and everything to make this taste better. But needless to say there is no salvaging anything that you put this in. when it says unflavored, please don’t believe it because it is worse than the worst vanilla protein powder you could possibly buy. I really hope the chocolate is better for others, but looking at the reviews I don’t feel like I have a lot of confidence in that. I think I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere. Not sure if there’s much they can do to change the flavor as you were getting it in its bare state. But really the only reason I wanted to review this is so people could really understand what Bare state is!!!! ( there’s no refunds, so try at your risk!) ... show more

After reading some reviews i was skeptical but ordered the protein powder anyway. And I must say, it's super good! Yes of course a plain Whey powder has this slightly weird milky taste, but what do people expect? That it tastes like marshmallow? I've purchased a lot of such unflavored protein powders from different sellers so far, and this one is really good in comparison. There are others with much stronger taste. And with just cold water I like this one a lot, for me it doesn't clump together... Yes unflavored whey not a flavor explosion for your taste buds, but that's not the reason for taking protein powder, is it? ... show more

The powder mix well in a shaker bottle. No clumping. However, the taste is chalky despite being unflavored when mix with water. Using a water enhancer/flavor does not helps either. Perhaps other liquid beside water can help with the taste, but it is a bad experience to drink this. High gram of protein per dollar ratio, though, so if you can tolerate the taste, this product is not bad. P/S: when I got the product, I thought there was no scoop. However, the scoop is actually hidden deep inside the tub. I only discover the scoop after finishing three-quarter of the tub. I recommend fishing for the scoop if you can't find it initially. ... show more
