These shelves hold exactly what I need them to hold. This is why I needed shelves in the first place. These shelves have NO brackets, but if you don't put them in correctly, you can fix the sturdiness of them with brackets. My bottom shelf dips a little low the other shelves are better. They are just in the drywall, they are not in the beam of the wall. You get instructions, you drill the hole put in the wall plastic, and then bang in the long screw. After you do that you slide on the shelf upon the two screws it takes to keep in the wall. I had my husband do the work. Depending on where you put these shelves the dip may or may not be noticeable. Like I said these screws are in straight drywall, not a wood beam. So if you have lightweight items, these shelves look nice and they work. Could you put heavier things? You might want to have bracket support, which doesn't come with the shelves. Clean design all around and holds exactly what I got the shelves for. ... show more

    • Good lightweight floating shelves
I installed these floating shelves over the weekend to hold some lightweight home decor and trophies around my home office setup. Out of the box, they do not look very impressive but once installed I was actually quite happy with them. The included anchors and hidden screws were interesting to install but once you get the first set in with a good set of pliers to turn the screw then you get into a good routine for the other two shelves. I wouldn't put more than a few pounds of weight on these things but for the lighter items you want off your desk, they seem to work great! ... show more

    • Lovely for my Starbucks cups
I had my Starbucks cups sitting on a utility table in my dining room that was not aesthetically pleasing. These shelves came in handy for me to be able to display my cups. I will definitely order more to put the rest of my cups on. These 3 shelves allowed me to be able to put 12 cups up, 4 on each shelf. Definitely recommend. The only reason I gave these shelves 4 stars is because that was my first time having to screw screws manually with pliers. You have to drill the hole, put the little plastic pieces into the holes, then manually screw the screws in because the end of the screw that is still exposed is what goes into the back of the floating shelves. So I bought these for my upstairs bathroom to keep the small counter top clear and for the most part it was very easy to install and looks great in our wallpapered bathroom. My only complaint is they don’t hold much weight to them so be wary with how much you place on the shelves since one started to tip down but didn’t fall off the wall. I reinforced them with my own anchors but the set comes with everything you need minus a drill so they were super easy to put together and no issues with the paint pealing off at all when cleaning them. ... show more

I ordered this for my bathroom, but once I went to put on the wall, I decided it was too thin for my liking and decided to order thicker set. It is nice quality and is built very well. I don’t have any issues with it and plan on using in another room.

The other end of the Screw is FLAT! You CANNOT screw it using any screw driver into the wall anchor!

I had wanted some small shelves for a few model cars and these seemed to be the perfect size. The shelves came packed with corner protectors and necessary fasteners. The instruction sheet was decent. I would add a few tools that make installation better: a level, a plumb line to line up edges (a string with something to weight it at the bottom will do), and a small vice grip (to turn the screw) came in handy. However, installation could be done without those. The installation was not difficult and the shelves feel stable. The most difficulty I had was trying to decide how I wanted them arranged and the distance between them. The fun part now is deciding how to better display the cars.
